Kim Hoorweg (born 9 December 1992) is a Dutch singer-songwriter.
Kim Hoorweg is born in 1992 in Utrecht, but quickly moved to Rotterdam. As a young girl, Kim starts with cello lessons, but when she meets Trijntje Oosterhuis at the age of twelve, thanks to her father pianist Erwin Hoorweg, Kim gets inspired to sing jazz. Since then Kim takes singing classes at the conservatory in Amsterdam.
At the age of fourteen, Universal Music offers her a contract. That makes her the youngest female artist on the label Verve Records, the label on the concern. In 2007, her debut-cd Kim Is Back is released, after which she performed at North Sea Jazz Festival, with Trijntje Oosterhuis in the Heineken Music Hall and with the Metropole Orchestra
Kim's second album was released in 2009. On My Recipe for a Happy Life Kim manages to get several international jazz artists to play on her album. On the album are artists like Prince keyboard player Chance Howard, Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer, jazz singer Trijntje Oosterhuis and Perquisite.
In June 2011 Kim signs a contract at Challenge Records to record her third album Why Don't You Do Right together with the jazz sextet The Houdinis. The album contains twelve jazz standards which are made famous by Peggy Lee. The first single of the album is also the first song of the album, Shady Lady Bird . The CD is a product of a theater tour which Kim did with The Houdini's. The tour called Remember Peggy Lee contained songs from Peggy Lee which are now recorded and released on CD at Challenge Records.
Beside studio albums, Kim is also doing other projects. She is performing with The Kimcompany, a band which exists of eight Dutch musicians, led by pianist Erwin Hoorweg. With this funk and soul-jazz formation she performed on The Hague Jazz, IJsseljazz, Amersfoort Jazz, Jazz in Duketown and the Enschede International Jazzfestival. Another project is Back to the Roots, in which Kim performs in a special setting, together with Shirma Rouse. With percussion, keyboard and bass they sing several songs of Ella Fitzgerald en Aretha Franklin. Also, Kim is one of the founders of Bongomatik , a formation which make music that is a mix of Latin, pop and jazz. The bandleaders are known from their participation in bands like Drums United, the Houdini's, Nueva Manteca, Orkater and the formation works together with musicians like Marco Borsato, Raul Midón, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Candy Dulfer en Gino Vannelli.

Candy Dulfer is a Dutch jazz and pop saxophonist. She is the daughter of jazz saxophonist Hans Dulfer. She began playing at age six and founded her band Funky Stuff when she was fourteen. Her debut album Saxuality (1990) received a Grammy nomination. She has performed and recorded with her dad Hans, Prince, Dave Stewart, Van Morrison, Angie Stone, Maceo Parker and Rick Braun and has performed live with Alan Parsons (1995), Pink Floyd (1990), and Tower of Power (2014). She hosted the Dutch television series Candy Meets... (2007), in which she interviewed musicians. In 2013, she became a judge in the 5th season of the Dutch version of X Factor.
Saxuality is the debut album by Dutch alto saxophonist Candy Dulfer. Some versions of the album include the worldwide hit single "Lily Was Here" with Dave Stewart.
Big Girl is the third album by Dutch alto saxophonist Candy Dulfer. Before its release, she had been working mainly with Ulco Bed. But she was impressed by keyboard player Thomas Bank. This album marks the transition between the two producers and has a funkier style that tries to incorporate rap and hip hop into contemporary jazz. The album includes a collaboration with Trijntje Oosterhuis on "Funkyness" before Oosterhuis became widely known as a singer. The album is mainly instrumental.
Judith Katrijntje "Trijntje" Oosterhuis is a Dutch singer and songwriter. She formed the band Total Touch in 1990 with her brother Tjeerd Oosterhuis before she started as a solo singer. She represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Walk Along", placing fourteen in the first semi-final with 33 points and winning the Barbara Dex Award of the year.

This album is the fourth album for Trijntje Oosterhuis, and was released in Japan on 17 January 2007 under the artist name Traincha with a bonus song "Anyone Who Had a Heart (live)". The album consists of Burt Bacharach covers.
See You as I Do is the third solo album by Trijntje Oosterhuis and was released on 9 October 2005. During Trijntje's pregnancy she decided not to tour and perform, but use the time at home in her own studio to record an album. The album peaked at #5 in the Dutch album chart and was certified Gold. Trijntje started her musical career singing for Candy Dulfer's third album Big Girl and on Trijntje's third album, Candy is featured playing the saxophone on three tracks.
Strange Fruit is the second solo album by Trijntje Oosterhuis and was released on 22 March 2004 on Blue Note records. Trijntje's solo debut album was well received, and consisted mainly of pop ballads not reflective of her personal fondness for jazz.
Edsilia Francisca Rombley is a Dutch singer and television presenter. She began her career in 1995, as a member of the Dutch girl group Dignity. Rombley began her solo career in 1996, after winning the Dutch talent show Soundmixshow, later winning the European Soundmix Show as well the following year.

Lils Mackintosh was a jazz and blues singer and is considered one of the most distinguished artists in the Dutch jazz scene. Mackintosh had worked with the likes of Oscar Peterson, B.B. The Netherlands participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Walk Along" written by Tobias Karlsson and Anouk Teeuwe. The song was performed by Trijntje Oosterhuis, who was internally selected by the Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS to represent the Netherlands at the 2015 contest in Vienna, Austria. Songwriter Anouk Teeuwe represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Birds" where she placed ninth in the grand final of the competition. Trijntje Oosterhuis' appointment as the Dutch representative was announced on 10 November 2014, while the song, "Walk Along", was presented to the public on 11 December 2014.
The Ladies of Soul is a Dutch supergroup consisting of Candy Dulfer, Berget Lewis, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Edsilia Rombley. Glennis Grace, another founding member, left in 2024.
