Kimmo Samuel Timonen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenseman who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, and Chicago Blackhawks. Timonen had played in over 1,100 NHL games before retiring. During his career, Timonen had also featured in three IIHF World Junior Championships, seven IIHF World Championships, two World Cups and five Olympic tournaments. He won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2015. He will be inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2020.

Kimmo Pohjonen is a Finnish accordionist who is known for his avant-garde and experimental work with his custom-made electrified and modified instrument. He has released nine albums of his work and has toured Europe extensively, as well as performances in Japan and some in North America. He records and performs both solo and in collaboration with musicians and other artists, including the Kronos Quartet, and percussionist Pat Mastelotto and guitarist Trey Gunn of King Crimson. Pohjonen still lives in Finland when not on the road. He has performed with one of his daughters, Saana, who plays the drums.

Kimmo Rintanen is a former professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga before getting transferred to Swiss Elite League Team Kloten Flyers, where he played from the 2001-02 season until 2010-11, before his final season at HC Lugano in 2011-12. Before his international career, he played for Lukko, TPS, and Jokerit in Finland. He also won a bronze medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Kimmo Hovi is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a forward for German Regionalliga club Union Fürstenwalde. He has also represented Finland national under-21 football team. Hovi was born in Mäntsälä, Finland. He began his senior club career playing for PKKU at age 16 in 2012, before signing with FC Lahti in 2014. During his debut season he helped FC Lahti win bronze in the Veikkausliiga.
