Kingdom is an anime adaptation of a manga series of the same title written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara. It was produced by Pierrot, directed by Jun Kamiya, written by Naruhisa Arakawa, and featured music composed by Minako Seki. [1] The series' characters were designed by Atsuo Tobe, Noriko Otake, and Masatoshi Hakanda. The series premiered from June 4, 2012, to February 25, 2013, and ran for 38 episodes. [2] Funimation announced it acquired the exclusive streaming rights to the series and receive an English dub. [3] [4]

The opening theme is "Pride" by Nothing's Carved in Stone while the ending themes are "Voice of Soul" by Takumi Ishida, "Destiny Sky" by Yūki Wakai, and "Never Ending" by Dasoku.

On December 15, 2019, it was announced that the series will receive a third season along with a new production staff. The season aired from April 6, 2020, to October 18, 2021. On March 30, 2020, Funimation announced that they will stream the third season in U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Ireland. On April 26, 2020, it was announced that after the fourth episode, the remaining episodes of the season would be delayed until further notice due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. On October 5, 2020, it was announced that weekly new episodes would resume April 5, 2021, starting from episode 1. On August 13, 2022, Funimation announced at 11:30 am Pacific Time, that the third season of the series would receive an English dub all 26 episodes.

Blue Reflection Ray is an anime television series that is a spin-off of the 2017 video game, Blue Reflection, serves as a prelude to the 2021 game, Blue Reflection: Second Light and features a new cast of characters. It aired from April to September 2021.
