Kings Canyon Unified School District comprises mainly Reedley, California area schools, but also those for the town of Orange Cove and the mountain areas (Dunlap, Miramonte, Squaw Valley, Wonder Valley). The school district was established in 1965. The athletics are mainly for fun until they reach high school where most sports are highly competitive. The KCUSD headquarters is located near Reedley High School.

Immanuel Schools are Mennonite schools located in Reedley, California and serving the surrounding area, including Dinuba and Kingsburg. Silas Bartsch was an American school administrator who acted as a superintendent in Reedley, California. He was first superintendent of the Kings Canyon Unified School District. Bartsch was superintendent for five years, then left to begin a career at then Fresno Pacific University.

Canyons School District is a school district in the southeastern portion of Salt Lake County in Utah, United States. Fresno County Rural Transit Agency (FCRTA) is the primary bus agency providing intra- and inter-city routes for smaller cities and unincorporated rural communities in Fresno County, California since 1979, including Coalinga, Firebaugh, Fowler, Huron, Kerman, Kingsburg, Mendota, Orange Cove, Reedley, Sanger, San Joaquin, and Selma. FCRTA riders may transfer to Fresno Area Express service within the county seat of Fresno, and FCRTA has additional transfer points connecting to neighboring agencies in Fresno, Kings, and Tulare counties, including Clovis Transit Stageline, Kings Area Regional Transit, and Dinuba Connection.

Orange Cove HIgh School is a public high school serving students grades 9–12 located in Orange Cove, California, in the Central Valley of California in the United States. It is one of the three high schools operated by the Kings Canyon Unified School District. It is zoned to the city and sorrounding communites of Orange Cove, including unincorporated communities within immediately sorrounding Fresno County as of 2010. Students participate in the CIF Central Section. In 2023, the school received an mixed ratings from the California Department of Education.
