<i>Inuyasha</i> Japanese manga series

Inuyasha is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It was serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday from November 1996 to June 2008, with its chapters collected in 56 tankōbon volumes. The series begins with Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old middle school girl from modern-day Tokyo who is transported to the Sengoku period after falling into a well in her family shrine, where she meets the half-dog demon, half-human Inuyasha. After the sacred Shikon Jewel re-emerges from deep inside Kagome's body, she accidentally shatters it into dozens of fragments that scatter across Japan. Inuyasha and Kagome set to recover the Jewel's fragments, and through their quest they are joined by the lecherous monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, and the fox demon Shippō. Together, they journey to restore the Shikon Jewel before it falls into the hands of the evil half-demon Naraku.

Richard Ian Cox is a Welsh-born Canadian actor, comedian and online radio host. He is best known for his voice work for English language dubs of anime, mainly for Inuyasha. Cox gained prominence for playing the character of Henry Dailey's teenaged traveller and horse rider, Alec Ramsay, in The Family Channel's Adventures of the Black Stallion during the early 1990s. Cox also gained fame for voicing Ian Kelley, the title character in the animated series Being Ian and for voicing Scattershot, one of the Autobots in the CGI-Animated series Transformers: Cybertron. In 2015, he provided the voice of Lofty in the American dubbed version of the 2015 reboot of the British children's animated television series Bob the Builder taking over from both Sonya Leite and Emma Tate. He had a prominent live action role alongside Robin Williams in the 2006 comedy RV. He maintains an active online presence on Tumblr and Twitter as well as Facebook. He hosts his own podcast called The Show.

Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask, known in Japan as Inuyasha: The Cursed Mask, is a role-playing video game for the PlayStation 2 based on the manga and anime series Inuyasha. The player is able to choose to play as a female named Kaname Kururugi or as a male named Michiru Kururugi. Regardless of the chosen gender, the character is referred to using the last name Kururugi. <i>Inuyasha: The Final Act</i> Season of television series

The episodes of the Japanese anime series Inuyasha: The Final Act are based on the last twenty-one volumes of the Inuyasha manga series by Rumiko Takahashi, continuing where the first adaptation left off. The series follows the half dog-demon, half human named Inuyasha, the fifteen-year-old junior high school student Kagome Higurashi and their close companions Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Kirara as they search for the last fragments of the Sacred Jewel of Four Souls and approach their final battle with Naraku. Viz Media licensed the series as InuYasha: The Final Act. The original staff and cast from the first Inuyasha anime adaptation were brought back together for the new series. The series premiered on Yomiuri TV on October 3, 2009, where it ran for twenty-six episodes, concluding on March 29, 2010. It is the first series to be produced and broadcast in 16:9 widescreen.

"Change the World" is a song by Japanese boy band V6. It was released on October 25, 2000 through Avex Trax, as the band's seventeenth single. The song was used as the first opening theme for the anime series InuYasha. The single peaked at number 3 on the Oricon singles chart and stayed on the chart for thirteen weeks. An English version of the song was covered by Inuyasha's voice actor in the Italian dub of the series, Massimiliano Alto, and it was used as the opening theme song when InuYasha aired in Italy.

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is a Japanese anime television series produced and animated by Sunrise. It is a sequel to the Inuyasha anime series, which itself is based on the original manga series of the same title by Rumiko Takahashi. It follows the adventures of Towa Higurashi and Setsuna, Sesshomaru and Rin's fraternal twin daughters, and Moroha, Inuyasha and Kagome Higurashi's daughter. The series' first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021; a second season aired from October 2021 to March 2022. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Takashi Shiina, started in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Shōnen Sunday S in September 2021.

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is a Japanese anime television series and the sequel to Inuyasha, produced by Sunrise. It was first announced in May 2020 and was directed by Teruo Sato with main character designs by Inuyasha original creator Rumiko Takahashi. Most of the main cast and staff have returned, with Katsuyuki Sumisawa in charge of the scripts, Yoshihito Hishinuma in charge of the anime character designs and Kaoru Wada composing the music. The sequel series is set after Inuyasha and his allies destroyed Naraku and the Shikon Jewel. The trio of family daughters began their journey keeping all Rainbow Pearls from villainous siblings. It aired from October 3, 2020 to March 20, 2021 on both Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. The opening theme "New Era" is performed by the male idol group SixTONES, while the ending theme "Break" is performed by Uru. The second opening theme "Burn" is performed by NEWS, while the second ending theme "Kesshō" is performed by Ryokuōshoku Shakai.
