Kirata Temamaka (modern spelling,Temwamwaka) was a member of the Kiribati House of Assembly for the constituency of Kiritimati. [1]
Kiribati,officially the Republic of Kiribati,is an island country in the Micronesia subregion of Oceania in the central Pacific Ocean. Its permanent population is over 119,000 as of the 2020 census,with more than half living on Tarawa atoll. The state comprises 32 atolls and one remote raised coral island,Banaba. Anote Tong is an I-Kiribati environmental activist and former politician for the Pillars of Truth party with half Chinese heritage,who served as the fourth president of Kiribati,from 2003 to 2016. He won the election in July 2003 with a slim plurality of votes cast (47.4%) against his older brother,Harry Tong (43.5%) and the private lawyer Banuera Berina (9.1%). The elections were contested by the opposition,due to allegations of electoral fraud but the High Court of Tarawa had confirmed that there was no fraud. He was re-elected on 17 October 2007 for a second term (64%). In 2012,Tong was reelected for a third term,although with a significantly smaller percentage than in the previous two elections.
The Kiribati men's national football team is the national men's football team of Kiribati and is controlled by the Kiribati Islands Football Association. Kiribati is not a member of FIFA but is an associate member of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC),and is therefore not eligible to enter the FIFA World Cup but may enter the OFC Nations Cup. It became a provisional member of the N.F.-Board on 10 December 2005.

Maiana is an atoll in Kiribati and is one of the Central Gilbert Islands. Maiana is 44 kilometres (27 mi) south of the capital island of South Tarawa and has a population of 1,982 as of 2015. The northern and eastern sides of the atoll are a single island,whilst the western edge consists of submerged reefs and many uninhabited islets,all surrounding a lagoon. Parliamentary elections were held in Kiribati on 21 and 28 October 2011. In the first round,exactly half of the 44 members of parliament were elected,with the remainder chosen in the proceeding run-off elections. 30 candidates were reelected,and four government ministers lost their seats. One seat had to go to a third round of elections due to two candidates tying in the second round. In the third round,Jacob Teem defended his seat against Rutio Bangao with just 27 votes difference.

Rereao Tetaake Eria is a former I-Kiribati politician. Succeedin her husband Mr Tetaake Eria,she served as a member of parliament for Teraina in the ninth and tenth Parliaments of Kiribati. She represented the Pillars of Truth party. In the 2015–16 Kiribati parliamentary election,she lost her seat to Uriam Iabeta.
Uriam Tirae Iabeta was an I-Kiribati politician. He served as a member of parliament for the island of Teraina in the eleventh Parliament of Kiribati. He was aligned with the Tobwaan Kiribati Party,and won his seat during the 2015–16 Kiribati parliamentary election,defeating the incumbent Rereao Tetaake Eria.
