Kirip Chaliha (born 1November 1955) is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Gauhati constituency of Assam and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party. He hails from Sivsagar,Assam.
He was also previously a member of the 10th Lok Sabha also having represented the Gauhati.

Bijoya Chakravarty, is an Indian politician of Bharatiya Janata Party. She served as the Member of the Lok Sabha from Gauhati from 2009 to 2019 and from 1999 to 2004. She was the Union Minister of State for Water Resources from 1999 to 2004. She was also the Member of the Rajya Sabha from 1986 to 1992 as a member of the Asom Gana Parishad.
