Kish is a 91.5-square-kilometre (35.3 sq mi) resort island in Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgan Province, off the southern coast of Iran in the Persian Gulf. Owing to its free trade zone status, the island is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and resort hotels. It has an estimated population of almost 40,000 residents and about 1 million visitors annually.

Hendurabi or Hendorabi is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf. Its name is derived from the Persian word اندرآبی Andar-abi meaning "Inside the waters". It is located in Hormozgan Province, to the west of Kish Island and due south of Bastak. Administratively, the island is in Kish Rural District, Kish District, Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgan Province, Iran.

Lavan Island (Persian: جزیرهٔ لاوان) (traditionally known as hidden pearl island or Sheikh Shoeyb island) is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf. It has an area of 78 square kilometres (30 sq mi). The island has one of the four major terminals for export of crude oil in Iran alongside Kharg island. Lavan island sits on top of Lavan gas field, containing 9.5 trillion cubic feet (2.7×1011 cubic metres) of gas. Administratively, the island forms part of the Lavan Rural District in Kish District, Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgan Province. The island is served by Lavan Airport.

The Church of Kish, also known from different sources as Church of Saint Elishe or Holy Mother of God Church, is a Georgian Orthodox church, probably dating to the early 12th century, inactive due to lack of parishioners since the 19th century, although -as of 2000- mass was still regularly held by a Georgian priest. It is located in the village of Kiş approximately 5 km north of Shaki, Azerbaijan. Archaeological research undertaken in 2000 concluded that it was first built as a diophysite Georgian church, later to become a Chalcedonian church. Previous research had proposed that it had functioned at different times as a Caucasian Albanian Apostolic church, a Chalcedonian church within the Georgian Orthodox Church, and later as an Armenian Apostolic Church.
