Kisumu Town constituency was an electoral constituency in Kisumu County, Kenya (1963-1996) and was disestablished before the General Election of 1997. [1]

Cost of living in Muhoroni is so high and densely populated housing.

The altitude of Maseno is 1,503 metres or 4,934 feet above sea level.

Peter Anyang' Nyong'o, politically known simply as Anyang' Nyong'o, is a Kenyan politician and author who is the Governor of Kisumu County. He is a former Secretary-General of Orange Democratic Movement. Professor Nyong'o was the acting party leader from March 11 until late May when Raila Odinga was in the United States and was elected to the National Assembly of Kenya in the December 2007 parliamentary election, representing the Kisumu Rural Constituency. He was the Minister for Medical Services and previously the Minister for Planning & National Development. He previously served as the Senator of Kisumu from 2013 to 2017.

Fort Ternan is a small town in Kericho County, Kenya, located 50 kilometres east of Kisumu and five kilometres east of Koru. It is named after Col. Trevor Ternan C.M.G.D.S.O. Fort Ternan is located at the western border of the former Rift Valley Province. Fort Ternan forms a ward of Kipkelion West Constituency and Kipsigis town council. Fort Ternan is also a location in the Chilchila division.
