The Kodiak Daily Mirror is the daily newspaper of Kodiak, Alaska. [1]
The newspaper was established June 15, 1940. [2] Duane and Nancy Freeman sold the paper to the owners of the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner in 1998. At that time the paper had a circulation of 3,000. [3] Asa Cole was then named publisher. [4]
In 2016, the Fairbanks Daily-News-Miner, and with it the Kodiak Daily Mirror, were purchased by the nonprofit Helen E. Snedden Foundation. [5]
