Shashi Kapoor (pronounced [ʃəʃi kəpuːɾ]; was an Indian actor and film producer who is best known for his work in Hindi films. A recipient of several accolades, including four National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards, he also featured in a number of English-language international films, particularly films produced by Merchant Ivory. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 2011, and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, in 2014, for his contribution to Indian cinema.
Kumudlal Ganguly, better known by his stage name Ashok Kumar and also by Dadamoni, was an Indian actor who attained iconic status in Indian cinema and who was a member of the cinematic Ganguly family.
Sashadhar Mukherjee was an Indian filmmaker in Hindi cinema. He started his career with Bombay Talkies in the 1930s, and later established Filmistan Studio with Rai Bahadur Chunilal, Ashok Kumar and Gyan Mukherjee in 1943. In the 1950s, he went on to start his independent studio, Filmalaya. He is noted for films like Dil Deke Dekho (1959), Love in Simla (1960), Ek Musafir Ek Hasina (1962) and Leader (1964). He is part of the distinguished Mukherjee clan of Bollywood.

Takkari Donga is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language revisionist western film produced, written, and directed by Jayant Paranjee. The film starred Mahesh Babu, Lisa Ray, Bipasha Basu, and Rahul Dev in pivotal roles. Shot entirely in the United States, upon release, Takkari Donga received mixed reviews, having won five state Nandi Awards including Best Audiography, Best Cinematography, and Best Action. The film had an Average run at the box office. The film was dubbed into Hindi as Choron Ka Chor by Goldmines Telefilms in 2014 and into Tamil as Vetri Veeran. and it was dubbed in Bhojpuri as Choron Ka Raja.
Eeswar is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee, starring Prabhas and Sridevi Vijaykumar. Siva Krishna and Revathi played supporting roles. It marked the debut of Prabhas, nephew of popular Telugu actor Krishnam Raju. However, it didn't prove him well enough as a popular hero until the release of his blockbuster Varsham. The film was an average grosser at the box office. The film was later dubbed into Hindi as Humla: The War (2009) and into Bengali as Bhalobashar Jeet.
