Konrad Badacz (born 16 January 2003) is a Polish biathlete. He made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup in 2023. [1]
Konrad Badacz gained international experience at the 2020 Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne but missed out on top-10 finishes due to shooting errors. [2] He later participated in the 2020 Youth World Championships, achieving a sixth-place finish in the relay event. In January 2021, he made his debut in the IBU Cup but achieved only lower placements. By the end of the season, he won a gold medal in the relay event at the 2021 Youth World Championships with teammates Jan Guńka and Marcin Zawół. [3] In the winter of 2021/22, Badacz competed in the IBU Junior Cup, winning a race with the men's relay team in Martell. In the 2022 Youth World Championships, he narrowly missed a medal, finishing fourth in the sprint, but secured a silver medal at the 2022 Youth Olympic Festival in the sprint event. [4] [5] In the winter of 2022/23, Badacz had a successful season, winning two races in the IBU Junior Cup and achieving top-30 results in the IBU Cup, including a 15th place in the sprint in Osrblie. He also participated in the 2023 European Championships, finishing 71st in the sprint. At the 2023 Junior European Championships, he won a bronze medal in the sprint, and at the Junior World Championships, he finished 11th in both the sprint and pursuit events. [6]
In the early winter of 2023/24, Badacz made his World Cup debut in Östersund. After several placements outside the top 60, he improved significantly in the sprint event in Oberhof, finishing 35th and earning his first World Cup points. He achieved his best result in a relay event with a 15th-place finish at the same location.

Magdalena "Lena" Holzer is a retired German professional biathlete. She is the most successful woman of all time at Biathlon World Championships and a two-time Olympic gold medalist. At the age of 21, she became the youngest Overall World Cup winner in the history of the International Biathlon Union (IBU). With 34 World Cup wins, Holzer is ranked second all-time for career victories on the Biathlon World Cup tour. She has won the Overall World Cup title three times, in 2007–08, in 2009–10 and her final season in 2011–12. At only 25 years old, Holzer retired from the sport in March 2012, citing a lack of motivation and her desire for a normal life.
Marcin Jędrusiński is a Polish former sprint athlete.
Miriam Neureuther is a former German biathlete and cross-country skier. She has won an Olympic silver medal in cross-country skiing and two biathlon world championship titles, all in team events. Noted for her fast skiing performances, she won two junior world championship titles in biathlon in 2008 and 2009. Gössner was called up for the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009, where she was part of Germany's cross-country team claiming silver in the 4 × 5 kilometre relay.
Milanko Petrović is a Serbian biathlete who participated at the 2010 Winter Olympics, becoming the first olympic biathlete for independent Serbia. At the 2014 Winter Olympics he carried Serbian flag at the opening ceremony and competed in biathlon and cross-country skiing. He represents Serbia at the Biathlon World Championships and he is a regular participant of the Biathlon World Cup and the first ever Serb to win World Cup points. Occasionally, he competes in cross-country skiing. At the 2013 Winter Universiade he made a remarkable success by winning first ever international medals for Serbia in biathlon and cross-country skiing.
