Koolu was a Canadian company started by Andrew Greig and Jon "maddog" Hall, which aim is to provide low-power computer appliances powered by free- and open-source software. It is now defunct.
Jon "maddog" Hall is the Board Chair for the Linux Professional Institute, and CEO of OptDyn, makers of Subutai P2P Cloud Platform.

William Kamkwamba is a Malawian innovator, engineer, and author.
