Koon is a 2024 Indian Malayalam language thriller film directed by Prasanth B Molickal. The film stars Limal G Paadath and Sithara Vijayan in lead roles and was released on 4 October 2024 with limited prints. [1]
The film is the last release of late actress Lakshmika Sajeevan, known for the highly acclaimed telefilm 'Kakka,' [2] [3]
Koon is the story of a working woman, who gets kidnapped as he wanted her to fall in love with him. But as she tries to escape, she accidentally encounters his past life traumas and understands more about him and his intention.
The first announcement of the film was on 13 July 2021 with the crew deciding to make the film after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, with Liimal G Padath and Sithara Vijayan, chosen through an audition doing the lead roles.
