The Korean War Memorial is a monument commemorating those who fought in the Korean War, installed outside the Veterans Building in Salem, Oregon, United States, which houses the offices of the Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs. [1] [2]

The Korean War Veterans Memorial is located in Washington, D.C.'s West Potomac Park, southeast of the Lincoln Memorial and just south of the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall. The Rex T. Barber Veterans Memorial Bridge is a concrete arch bridge in the western United States; it spans the Crooked River gorge in Jefferson County in central Oregon. Designed by T. Y. Lin International, the bridge was completed in 2000 to replace the Crooked River High Bridge. Parallel and west, the older bridge was built in 1926 and was not wide enough to accommodate increased traffic on US 97.

Staryl Chester Austin, Jr. was a brigadier general in the United States Air Force. He was a P-47 pilot during World War II. He later joined the Oregon Air National Guard. Austin commanded the 142nd Fighter Group and was Assistant Adjutant General of Oregon. After leaving military service, he served as the director of the Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs. He is a member of the Oregon Aviation Hall of Honor.

Liberty Bell refers to one of two replicas in Portland, Oregon, United States, of the original Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. The first replica was purchased in 1962, and installed in the rotunda of City Hall in 1964. On November 21, 1970, it was destroyed in a bomb blast that also damaged the building's east portico. The second replica was installed outside of City Hall soon after the blast with funds from private donations. It was dedicated on November 6, 1975. The bell is listed as a state veterans memorial by the Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs.

The World War I Memorial, also known as the Veterans Memorial, is a relief sculpture and war memorial by artist Frederic Littman and architect Pietro Belluschi, installed of the exterior of Salem, Oregon's Marion County Courthouse, in the United States. The marble sculpture was dedicated in 1954 and depicts a grieving woman kneeling and holding a wreath. Viesko & Post served as the contractor of the project. The sculpture was deemed "well maintained" during the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in July 1993.

The Broken Wall Memorial is an outdoor memorial installed on the University of Portland campus in Portland, Oregon, United States. It started with the Praying Hands Memorial, dedicated in 1948, and was expanded and rededicated in its current form on Veterans Day in 1990. The memorial commemorates World War I, Korean War, Vietnam War and Gulf War service members associated with the university, and features inscriptions of select names. Vigils are held at the site each Veterans Day.
