Kris Stewart (born February 9, 1967 in Portsmouth) is the founding chairman [1] of English football club AFC Wimbledon and a left wing political activist. He was the club's chief executive and is also a CIMA past finalist management accountant. Under his leadership, AFC Wimbledon achieved numerous milestones including their first ever match, a friendly against Sutton United, as well as their first competitive game in the Combined Counties League away at Sandhurst, and a sell-out game against Chipstead at Kingsmeadow. [2] He is a former member of the Socialist Workers Party (SWP) and stood as the Left List's candidate for Merton and Wandsworth [3] in the 2008 London Assembly election. [4]
In 2013, he resigned from the SWP due to the party's rape scandal and co-founded the International Socialist Network with around 100 other former members.[ citation needed ]
Amsterdam Pirates is a Dutch baseball and softball organization based in Amsterdam that plays in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse. It was founded as an expansion of the football club SV Rap on 17 February 1959 by Loek Loevendie. In the first years it was known as the RAP Pirates, but after a few years the club changed its name according to American tradition and became the Amsterdam Pirates.
The Internationalist Workers' Left (DEA) (Greek: Διεθνιστική Εργατική Αριστερά) is a Trotskyist organization in Greece. It was founded in 2001 after splitting from the Socialist Workers' Party-International Socialist Tendency (SEK-IST). The organization was particularly active in the Greek Social Forum and the Coalition of the Radical Left. It maintains a sisterhood relationship with the International Socialist Organization (ISO) in the United States. Through the ISO, the DEA has developed connections with both the Socialist Alternative in Australia and the Movement for Socialism in Switzerland.

ContainerArt was an itinerant public art event. The event used shipping containers to display works of contemporary art. Events have taken place in Italy and in some cities elsewhere. In Italy events have been held in Bergamo (2005) with 21 containers, Varese (2005) with 21 containers, Genoa (2007) with 24 containers, Rome (2007) with 14 containers, Milan (2008) with six containers, Turin (2008) with two containers, Casale Monferrato (2008) with four containers, and Genova (2008) in co-production with the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. The last named event, named "Ecosystems" included 26 containers spread around the port city, 14 of which formed part of the Kaohsiung Container Arts biennale and were shipped to Genoa directly from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. In the autumn of 2008 a simultaneous ContainerArt event in 4 cities was held under the name: "Beauty Inside Will Save the World" with four containers in Milan, four in Turin, four in Venice (Mestre) and one container in Tirana in Albania.

Henry Ford High School is located at 20000 Evergreen Road, on the northwest side of Detroit, Michigan. The facility is staffed and operated by Detroit Public Schools. Ford High opened its doors on September 5, 1957; it was constructed to accommodate an overflow of students from nearby Cooley, Mumford, and Redford high schools. In 2007, DPS closed Redford High School. As a result, Henry Ford now serves the Detroit sub-community of Old Redford. DPS will re-assume control of Ford High in fall 2017.

Scotland Against Criminalising Communities (SACC) is a voluntary grassroots organisation that campaigns against Britain's terrorism laws, including detention without charge or trial, and other laws that have the effect of criminalising political activity. SACC works in solidarity with those communities most affected by the anti-terrorism laws and it has also campaigned on a number of other human rights issues closely related to the 'war on terror'. SACC argues that terrorism laws are unnecessary and unjust and crimes connected with terrorism are better dealt with by ordinary criminal law. Richard Haley, SACC's chair, argues that the British government's international politics adversely influences the administration of justice in Scotland.

The Coordinating Committee for the Refoundation of the Fourth International (CRFI) was a Trotskyist international organisation. Its name in Spanish was Coordinadora por la Refundación de la Cuarta Internacional. It was formed in 2004 at a conference in Buenos Aires called by the Movement for the Refoundation of the Fourth International. It had members in South America, Western Europe and the Middle East. The committee had nine members from Argentina, Chile, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Uruguay, Turkey, Finland and Venezuela. They included Jorge Altamira, Savas Matsas, Sungur Savran and Marco Ferrando.
