Krishan Pal Malik or K.P Malik (born 8 September 1960) is an Indian politician and a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Baraut since March 2017 representing Bharatiya Janata Party. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Bagpat district is one of the 75 districts of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh with headquarters at the town of Baghpat. Created in 1997,the district has an area of 1,321 square kilometres (510 sq mi) and a population of 1,303,048.
Baraut is a city and municipal board in Baghpat district,Uttar Pradesh,India.
Baraut Assembly constituency is one of the 403 constituencies of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly,India. It is a part of the Bagpat district and one of the five assembly constituencies in the Bagpat. First election in this assembly constituency was held in 1952 after the "DPACO (1951)" was passed in 1951. After the 1969 elections,the constituency was dissolved. In 2008,when the "Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order,2008" was passed,the constituency was constituted again and elections were held in 2012. The constituency is assigned identification number 51.
Naresh Uttam Patel is a leader of the Samajwadi Party and member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. He first became an MLA as a Janata Dal candidate in 1989 and is one of the founding members of the Samajwadi Party. He belongs to Kurmi OBCs caste of UP and has been considered to be close to Mulayam Singh Yadav.
