Air Marshal Krishnan Narayan Nair was the former Commander-in Chief of the Eastern Air Command, Indian Air Force. [1] He was commissioned on 19 December 1961. He received Ati Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 1995 and Param Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 1998. [2]

The medal is awarded for "distinguished service rendered by personnel of the Armed Forces." All ranks of the Armed Forces, including Territorial Army, Auxiliary and Reserve forces, Nursing officers and other members of the Nursing services and other lawfully constituted Armed Forces are eligible for the medal, which may be awarded multiple times as well as posthumously.

Air Marshal Malcolm Shirley Dundas Wollen, PVSM, VrC, was an Indian Air Force officer who held several key positions, including Commanding Officer of the Guwahati Air Force base in Assam during the 1971 Indo Pak War. He later also served as Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Air Command and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Command. He was awarded the Vayu Sena Medal on 26 January 1968. He was later bestowed with the Vir Chakra and the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) on 26 January 1972 for his exceptional skill and devotion to duty during the Indo Pak War of 1971.

Air Marshal Erasseri Pathayapurayil Radhakrishnan Nair was the Commander-in Chief of the Training Command, IAF from 20 September 1981 to 28 February 1985. He was commissioned into the IAF on 12 April 1950. He received the Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 1969, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 1978 and Param Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 1984.

Air Marshal Narayan Menon was a former Air Officer-in-Charge (Personnel) with the Indian Air Force. He was commissioned on 24 December 1964. He received Ati Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 1998, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal on 15 August 1999 and Param Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 2004.
