Krzysztof Paterka (born 19 August 1986) is a Polish retired Paralympic swimmer who specialises in the breaststroke and competed in international elite competitions. He is a Paralympic bronze medalist, three-time World bronze medalist and a European silver medalist. He was born without his left forearm and was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy as a young child. [1] [2]

The United States Center for SafeSport temporarily suspended Griswold in 2020, reinstated him prior to the 2021 Paralympic Games, and then temporarily suspended him again in 2022, after he was accused of raping a fellow member of the US Paralympic Team at the 2021 Paralympic Games and thereafter; Griswold was later removed as a member of the US National Team.

He is a double World bronze medalist and has competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics where he reached the final of the 200m freestyle S5 and finished in fifth position. He was born with undeveloped right arm and left leg.
