The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a state political party in Jammu and Kashmir,India. The PDP was headed and founded by Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. His daughter,Mehbooba Mufti,succeeded him as party leader and as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir following his death in January 2016. The party is a member of the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration electoral alliance. The party is also a member of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance since its founding on 18 June 2023.

Reasi is a town and a notified area committee and tehsil in Reasi district of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated on the bank of River Chenab,It is the headquarters of the Reasi district. In the eighth century,Reasi was a part of the Bhimgarh state established by Rajput king Bhim Dev Rasyal. The name Reasi is derived from the town's old name,"Rasyal".

Ajay Nanda is an Indian politician from Jammu and Kashmir. He is an MLA from Reasi Assembly constituency in Reasi district. He won the 2014 Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly election representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Baldev Raj Sharma is an Indian politician from Jammu &Kashmir. He is a Member of the Jammu &Kashmir Legislative Assembly from 2024,representing Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Assembly constituency as a Member of the Bharatiya Janta Party.
