Kulow Maalim Hassan (died 28 March 2023) was a Kenyan politician from the United Democratic Movement (UDM). In 2017 and 2022 he was elected Member of Parliament for Banissa Constituency. [1]
Hassan Abshir Farah was a Somali politician. He previously served as mayor of Mogadishu and interior minister of Puntland. From November 12, 2001 to November 8, 2003, he was also prime minister of Somalia. Farah was an MP in the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya was a Kenyan trade unionist, educator, Pan-Africanist, author, independence activist, and statesman. He was one of the founding fathers of the Republic of Kenya. He led the negotiations for independence at the Lancaster House Conferences and was instrumental in the formation of Kenya's independence party – the Kenya African National Union (KANU) – where he served as its first Secretary-General. He laid the foundation for Kenya's capitalist and mixed economy policies at the height of the Cold War and set up several of the country's key labour institutions.

The constituency has an area of 8.80 km2 (3.4 sq mi). The constituency forms part of what was known as Nairobi Central Constituency at the 1963 elections. Kamukunji Constituency was conceived prior to the 1969 elections. The current constituency boundaries were revised prior to the 2013 elections. It borders Starehe Constituency to the west, Makadara to the south, Embakasi West Constituency to the east, and Mathare Constituency to the north.
Farah Maalim Mohamed is a Kenyan politician who served as Lagdera MP from 1992 to 1997, and then from 2007 to 2013. He then moved to Dadaab constituency in 2022. He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Abdirahman Ali Hassan is a Kenyan politician. He served in the government of Kenya as assistant minister for trade and industry from 2005 to 2007. A member of the Orange Democratic Movement, He was elected to represent the Wajir South Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in the Kenyan 2002 parliamentary election. He was also elected to the senate of Kenya in 2013, representing Wajir county, and becoming deputy minority leader in the senate.

The Tachoni is one of the 17 sub-tribes that form the Luhya people of western Kenya, known for its gallant defense of the Chetambe in 1895 when resisting British rule. Tachoni people were masters at building forts such as Chetambe, Lumboka, and Kiliboti. It was their defiance of colonialism that led to the colonial government putting the entire region occupied by the Tachoni under administration of paramount chiefs drawn from Bunyala and Wanga communities. haring the land with the Abanyala, the Kabras, Nandi, and Bukusu tribe. They live mainly in Webuye, Chetambe Hills, Ndivisi Matete sub-county-Lwandeti, Maturu, Mayoyo, Lukhokho, Kiliboti, Kivaywa, Chepsai, and Lugari sub-county in Kakamega County. Most Tachoni clans living in Bungoma speak the ' Olutachoni dialect of the Luhya language, and they are subsequently often mistaken as Bukusus. They spread to Trans-Nzoia County especially around Kitale, and to Uasin Gishu County near Turbo, Eldoret. Among the Tachoni clans are Abachikha -further divided into Abakobolo, Abamuongo, Abachambai,Abamakhanga, Abacharia, and Abakabini, Abamarakalu, Abangachi -who are further divided into: Abawaila, Abakhumaya and Abawele, Abasang'alo, Abasamo, Abayumbu, Abaluu, Abarefu,Abanyangali, Abamuchembi, Abamakhuli, Abasioya, Abaabichu,Abacheo, Abamachina,Abaengele, Abamutama, Abakafusi, Abasonge, Abasaniaka, Abaabiya also known as Abakatumi, Abakubwayi,Abakamutebi, Abakamukong, Abamweya, Abalukulu,Abawande, Abatukiika, Abachimuluku. Note that the morpheme 'aba' means 'people'. The Abakhusia/abasamo of Kabras are also Tachonis who speak Kikabras. Abayumbu and Abaluu are twin brothers, hence do not intermmary.

Ekwee David Ethuro is a Kenyan politician. Currently is the Chairperson Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). He was elected as the first Speaker of the modern Kenyan Senate on 28 March 2013. From 1998 to 2013 he served as a Member of Parliament representing Turkana Central. He also served as the Assistant Minister for Planning and National Development from 1998 to 2002 under the government of President Daniel arap Moi. He was re-elected as Member of Parliament for Turkana Central in the 2007 general elections and steered the proceedings of the 10th Parliament in the position of acting Speaker of the House whenever the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker were absent.

Harun Maalim Hassan was born in 1978 in Dandu location, Mandera County in Kenya. He is a disability rights activist and ambassador, who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities since December 2020. He previously served as the founder and CEO of the Northern Nomadic Disabled Persons Organisation (NONDO) from 2014 to 2020. He has also been vocal in advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities.

Reuben Kiborek is the current Member of Parliament for Mogotio Constituency of Baringo County located in Rift Valley, Kenya. He was elected to the seat the 2022 Kenyan general elections.
