The Kuwait national under-16 basketball team is a national basketball team of Kuwait, governed by the Kuwait Basketball Association. [1] It represents the country in international under-16 (under age 16) basketball competitions.
Association football is the most popular sport in Kuwait, followed by basketball and cricket. Additional sports on the rise in Kuwait include powerboating, handball, field hockey, rugby union, and shooting.
Larry Farmer is an American basketball coach and former player. Farmer served as the head basketball coach at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1981 to 1984, Weber State University from 1985 to 1988, and Loyola University Chicago from 1998 to 2004. He played college basketball at UCLA, where he was a member of three national championships-winning teams for the UCLA Bruins under head coach John Wooden in the early 1970s. In 2018, Farmer was inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame.
Kuwait Sports Club is a Kuwaiti professional football club based in Kuwait City. The football team has won Kuwaiti Premier League 18 times.
