Samme stof som stof is an album by Under byen, released in 2006. The title means "same fabric as fabric", or "same matter as matter", although the word "stof" has multiple meanings in Danish, suggesting a wordplay. "Stof" can mean either fabric, physical matter, or drug, giving the title multiple meanings.
Alphabeat were a Danish pop band from Silkeborg, fronted by singers Stine Bramsen and Anders Stig Gehrt Nielsen. MGP Junior is a Danish song contest for children aged 8 to 15. De Gyldne Laurbær is a Danish literature award, which was established in 1949. The award is handed by The Committee De Gyldne Laurbær, formerly Boghandlerklubben. The prize is given annually in February or March. Originally the award was a laurel wreath, a golden pin with an inscription, some money and a book gift worth 2500 DKK. Today the award is a laurel wreathe, a diploma and a book gift worth 2500 DKK. The award is handed at a ceremony arranged by the publishing house which has published the winning book and by the Committee De Gyldne Laurbær. Early in January every year the committee sends out ballot to all the Danish bookshops, which then give their vote for a Danish book which was published the year before. An author can only win The Golden Laurel once-in-a-lifetime, so the bookshops can not vote for an author who has already won the prize once before. The winner is usually one of the bestsellers among the Danish books. On the day when it is decided who wins the Golden Laurel, the president of the Committee of The Golden Laurel informs the winner about the award, while journalists follow the event.
Spids Nøgenhat is a psychedelic rock band from Copenhagen, Denmark, fronted by Uffe Lorenzen, known from Baby Woodrose. 'Spids Nøgenhat' is the Danish name for liberty cap, a psychedelic mushroom commonly found in Denmark. The lineup is identical to that of the psychedelic group Dragontears, which also shares members of Baby Woodrose.

Sonja Hauberg (1918–1947) was a Danish writer who is remembered mainly as a novelist. After initially writing poems and short stories, she made her promising book debut in 1942 with Hvad vil du mig?. Her most successful work was Syv Aar for Lea, a puberty novel which was republished several times by 1980 and most recently in 2019. A member of the Danish Communist Party, she died when only 27 after contracting typhus at a writers' convention she had organized in Finland.
