Kwebiha Joyce sometimes referred to as Kwebiha Joyce Mama Mission is a Ugandan politician. She was an Independent candidate for the Women Representative (MP) for Kyenjojo District in the eighth Parliament of Uganda.
She is the director of Kyenjojo Development Radio. [1]
During the opening of National Unity Platform Office in November 2020 in Kyenjojo, Joyce was the guest of honor for the event. [2] She requested peace and harmony during and after the 2021 election period despite the political differences among Ugandans during and after the political season. [2]
In 2007, a year when Joyce joined the 8th Parliament of Uganda as a woman Member of Parliament of Uganda, she received death threats from supporters of one of the candidates in the district Local Council 5 chairperson by-elections. [1] Joyce said that her death threats were a result of allegations that she was campaigning for one of the candidates in the elections. [1] These death threats also included threats of burning down Kyenjojo Development Radio, a radio station of which she is a director. [1]
Later in the next parliament, 28-year-old Linda Timbigamba beat the incumbent, Joyce Kwebiha with 24,922 votes, for the Kyenjojo Woman Member of Parliament seat and Kwebiha got 20,106 votes. [3] She was followed by Miriam Kesiime with 14,123 votes and Theresa Kabasinguzi came last with 11,911. [3]
Anita Annet Among is a Ugandan accountant, lawyer and politician who is the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda since 2022. She also concurrently serves as the elected member of parliament for the Bukedea District Women Constituency, the same position she held in the 10th Parliament (2016–2021). She was in FDC party before she joined the ruling NRM where she was voted as the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Parliament. She is named in the torture complaint against the Ugandan government that was submitted with the International Criminal Court.
Robinah Nabbanja is a Ugandan educator and politician who serves as the Prime Minister of Uganda, having been nominated to the office on 8 June 2021. She was formally confirmed by the Parliament on 21 June 2021. She replaced Ruhakana Rugunda, who was named to the post of Envoy For Special Duties In The Office Of The President of Uganda. She is the first female prime minister of Uganda.
Faith Alupo was a Ugandan politician who served as a Member of Parliament, representing the Pallisa District. She was elected to that position in June 2018.

Achiro Lucy Otim, commonly referred to as Lucy Achiro Otim is a female Ugandan politician and a Gender Specialist. She is the district woman representative for Aruu North County consistency, Pader district in the 10th Parliament. Achiro belongs to an independent political party at the Parliament of Uganda. She won the parliamentary seat running as an independent candidate in 2016. Her tenure as member of parliament was cut short when the Ugandan supreme court nullified her election for non-compliance with electoral laws because the electoral commission failed to carry out a vote recount after she had won with a two vote margin, beating James Nabinson Kidega of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). However, she returned as member of parliament after being re-elected Aruu north member of parliament in the April 2017 election by again beating Kidega, this time 64 percent to 32 percent.
Joyce Bagala is a Ugandan journalist and politician. Formerly served as the news manager at Next Media, NBS television. In the 2021 general election, running on the National Unity Platform ticket, she was elected Women's Representative for Mityana District 2021-2026.

Veronica Namaganda Nanyondo is a Ugandan politician who represents Bukomansimbi District. She belongs to National Unity Platform (NUP). Inspired by her sister Suzan Namaganda, who passed away in a car accident, Nanyondo started her political career in December 2015 on the Democratic Party (DP) platform. Nanyondo is currently a woman MP for Bukomansimbi district who garnered 23,815 votes that made her a victor. She was interested in contesting for the position of Women MP because she wanted to build on what her late sister had started and thought that she was the right person to replace her.
Stella Atyang is a Ugandan politician and a District Woman representing Moroto in the Ugandan parliament. She was elected on April 26, 2017, on the ticket of National Resistance Movement to replace her niece, Annie Logiel the Woman MP representing Moroto before her death. Atyang was a lone candidate in the election after opposition parties declined to feature candidates fearing that the district would give her sympathy vote in honour of her deceased Aunty. She was declared elected unopposed.

In 2005, when Kiruhura district was created out of Mbarara District, Beatrice became its pioneer Woman Member of Parliament in 2006 and served until 2016.
