Kyriakos Rokos is a Greek sculptor.
A number of his sculptures are displayed in the Republic of Cyprus and he was commissioned with several other sculptors to create public artwork for the Cypriot community, most notably in Limassol. In October 2009, he had an exposition of sculptures and drawings in the multicultural center Apollo-Prefecture of Piraeus ("Nomarhia Peiraia").

Kyriakos Ioannou is a Cypriot high jumper. He has twice won medals at the World Championships in Athletics and was the bronze medallist at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2008. He is the only medalist for Cyprus at the World Athletics Championships since its creation in 1983. He's also the Cypriot record holder, both outdoors and indoors. Ioannou is a two-time medallist at the Commonwealth Games and took back-to-back gold medals at the Mediterranean Games in 2005 and 2009.

He was influenced by George Liautaud, but his work acquired its own highly experimental style, often focusing on multi-faceted and conjoined figures, fantastically personified elements, and unborn babies visible within larger creatures.
Germasogeia is an eastern suburb of Limassol and a municipality in the Limassol District of Cyprus. As of 2011, Germasogeia had a population of 13,421. Its current mayor is Kyriakos Xidias. He won the local elections on 18 December 2016 as an independent candidate. During the elections, Xidias prevailed with 26.73% of the vote against 23.01% of two-term incumbent Andreas Gavrielides.

Kalopanagiotis is a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, located 3 km north of Moutoullas in the Troodos Mountains. It lies in Marathasa Valley. The village and its architecture include cobbled streets and footpaths, chapels and churches. Houses with tiled rooftops, balconies, courtyards and shady vine trees are characteristic of the village. The village is surrounded by the green vegetation of the Setrachos Valley.
Rupert Forbes Gunnis was an English collector and historian of British sculpture. He is best known for his Dictionary of British Sculptors 1660–1851, which "revolutionized the study of British sculpture, providing the foundation for all later studies on the subject".
Kyriakos Mavronikolas is a Cypriot Movement for Social Democracy politician. He served as the Cypriot Minister of Defence from 2003 to 2006, and he sat as a Member of the European Parliament for Cyprus from 2009 to 2012, when he vacated his seat and was replaced by Sophocles Sophocleous. Mavronikolas is a graduate of the University of Athens faculty of medicine, and outside politics he works as an ophthalmologist.
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a war memorial located in Syntagma Square in Athens, in front of the Old Royal Palace. It is a cenotaph dedicated to the Greek soldiers killed during war. It was sculpted between 1930 and 1932 by sculptor Fokion Rok.
The Department of Antiquities is a government department of the Republic of Cyprus with responsibility for archaeological research and cultural heritage management. It was established in 1935 by the British colonial government. The department is headed by the Director of the Department of Antiquities, next in line is the position of the Director of the Cyprus Museum and following that, the Curator of Monuments. It has conducted excavations at Khoirokoitia, Kition, Amathus, Kourion, Paphos, Salamis, Enkomi and carried multiple rescue excavations all around the island. The Department publishes yearly the Report of the Department of Antiquities Cyprus (RDAC) and the Annual Report of the Department of Antiquities Cyprus (ARDAC).
