Katusha–Alpecin Cycling team

Katusha–Alpecin was a Russian road bicycle racing team which competed at the UCI WorldTeam level using Canyon bikes. The team was created in 2008 by Igor Makarov within the framework of the previously established Russian Global Cycling Project, which was intended to help boost cycling in Russia. Riding for the Colombian national cycling team, Gaviria came to international attention at the 2015 Tour de San Luis, where he beat former world champion Mark Cavendish in two sprint finishes. His first major Grand Tour wins came at the 2017 Giro d'Italia. He is the brother of track cyclist Juliana Gaviria. His nickname is "Quetzal splendente", from the brightful and colourful South American bird Quetzal. Its colours recall his world championship titles, his Colombia and "la maglia Ciclamino" won at Giro d'Italia.

Filippo Ganna Italian cyclist

Filippo Ganna is an Italian track and road cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers. He is a four-time world champion in the individual pursuit, and has won a total of eight medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. He also won the men's individual time trial at the 2020 and 2021 UCI Road World Championships, four stages in the 2020 Giro d'Italia and two stages in the 2021 Giro d'Italia. He won the gold medal in the team pursuit at the 2020 Summer Olympics held at Tokyo in 2021, setting a new world record.
