First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) is a title typically held by the wife of the president of the United States, concurrent with the president's term in office. Although the first lady's role has never been codified or officially defined, she figures prominently in the political and social life of the United States. The first lady of the United States is the hostess of the White House.

The fifth season of Swedish Idol premiered on 3 September 2008 and continued until its grand finale on 12 December, when 22-year-old Kevin Borg was crowned winner. The series took advantage of guest judges including Charlotte Perrelli, Desmond Child and Cyndi Lauper, and the final 3 results show featured a performance by Leona Lewis, who sang "Forgive Me". For the second year running, the grand finale was held in Stockholm's Globen Arena with a live audience of 16,000 people, where operatic group Il Divo also sang live. Season 5 of Swedish Idol marked only the second time in worldwide Idol history where neither of the final two contestants were born in the show's home country. Winner Kevin Borg was born in Malta and runner-up Alice Svensson was born in Vietnam. The only other Idol contest to have this occur was Greece's Super Idol in 2004.
Linda Good is an American musician, composer, writer, songwriter and producer. She is co-founder, with her twin sister Laura, of the alternative pop band The Twigs. Good has also toured as a keyboardist with Jane's Addiction (2001),The Mars Volta (2002), the Lisa Marie Presley Band (2002–2006) and Bitter:Sweet (2007–2008). She co-wrote the musical Ladyship, which was an Official Grand Jury Selection of the New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and debuted in New York City at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theater in July 2019. Ladyship was also a finalist for the 2020 Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theater. She and her twin sister Laura were born in Ohio, lived in Mexico City as toddlers, and grew up in Chicago. She is a graduate of the Chicago Academy for Performing Arts High School in Chicago, the University of Illinois, and studied abroad at University College-Cardiff, Wales. She has been based out of Los Angeles since 2000.

The Twigs, aka Twigs, are the American twin sisters and musician/singer/songwriters Laura Good and Linda Good. Raised in Chicago, by way of Ohio and Mexico City, the twins are self-taught musicians who learned piano, guitar and songwriting by studying Beatles songs. Using their childhood nickname "Twigs" as their band name, the duo has released four albums. Their songs have appeared in film and television shows including "Love, Love, Love (Remix)" in Cruel Intentions 3 and "Oh Mary" in Men in Trees (ABC). After being a well-known part of the alternative pop scene in Chicago, they moved to California in 2000, which launched their careers as songwriters and producers, and where the LA Weekly described them as, "...Silky voiced sirens with universal appeal." Linda toured separately as a keyboardist/backup singer with such notable acts as Jane's Addiction, The Mars Volta, Lisa Marie Presley, and Bitter:Sweet, while still co-writing with Laura on Twigs projects. They released a CD of rock/pop songs especially for children, Jump Right In in 2013. In 2017, Laura Good was featured in a short film with musicians Daniel Carlson and Bark Benton produced by the Bouffant Collective. Their most recent project was writing the original musical, Ladyship, which debuted at the New York Musical Theater Festival (NYMF) in New York City in 2019. The Twigs are currently based out of Los Angeles and Virginia.
