Lago Morto (Italian for "dead lake") is a lake in the Province of Treviso, Veneto, Italy. It has this name because it has no effluent nor surface rivers feeding it, being fed probably by an underground karst river.
Lago Morto is just 8 km (10 minutes by car) from Vittorio Veneto. This spectacular swimming lake offers breathtaking views and in addition, a small playground for children and a large lawn for relaxing and sunbathing. During the year, it is very quiet. In summer, it is a bit chaotic and if you visit the lake on weekends, it is advisable to arrive early. The lake is well signposted along the road. There is a nice walk around the lake of about 7 km, not suitable for buggies as it is a dirt road with inclines. The route is suitable for mountain bikes.
