The Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and Industry is the state government ministry, charged with the responsibility to plan, devise and implement the state policies on Commerce and Industry. [1] [2] This ministry was established to ensure business Prosperity and Consumer Satisfaction in Lagos state. [3] The head office of the agency is located at Block 8, The Secretariat, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos state. [3]

Lagos Metropolis in Nigeria

Lagos is the largest city in Nigeria and the second most populous city in Africa, with a population of 15.4 million as of 2015 within the city proper - daily the Lagos area is growing by some 3,000 people, or around 1.1 million annually, so the true population figure of the greater Lagos area in 2022 is roughly 28 million. Lagos may therefore have overtaken Kinshasa as Africa's most populous city. Lagos State State in Nigeria

Lagos State is a state in southwestern Nigeria. Of the 36 states, it is both the most populous and smallest in area. Bounded to the south by the Bight of Benin and to the west by the international border with Benin Republic, Lagos State borders Ogun State to the east and north making it the only Nigerian state to border only one other state. Named for the city of Lagos—the most populous city in Africa—the state was formed from the Western Region and the former Federal Capital Territory on 27 May 1967.

Patrick Utomi

Patrick Okedinachi Utomi is a Nigerian professor of political economy and management expert. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria and a former presidential candidate. He is the founder of Centre for Value in Leadership (CVL) and the African Democratic Congress. He is a professor at Lagos Business School, and has served in senior positions in government, as an adviser to the president of Nigeria, the private sector, as Chief Operating Officer of Volkswagen Nigeria.

Greece–Nigeria relations include diplomatic and economic relations between Greece and Nigeria. Nigeria has an embassy in Athens. Greece established a diplomatic mission in Nigeria in 1970, and today has an embassy in Abuja and a consulate in Lagos. Trade between the two countries is imbalanced, with imports from Greece to Nigeria exceeding exports. Greek-owned tankers have an important role in shipping Nigerian oil and natural gas, its main exports. Recently a Greek tanker was involved a dispute over crude oil smuggling. Water supply and sanitation in Nigeria

Responsibility of water supply in Nigeria is shared between three levels of government – federal, state and local. The federal government is in charge of water resources management; state governments have the primary responsibility for urban water supply; and local governments together with communities are responsible for rural water supply. The responsibility for sanitation is not clearly defined.

The Rivers State Ministry of Commerce and Industry is a government ministry of Rivers State, Nigeria that is charged with the responsibility of dealing with matters that have to do with commerce, industry and cooperative, as well as to accelerate the economic and commercial development of the state. The ministry is led by its Commissioner, Chukwuma Chinye, who is assisted by Permanent Secretary Kadilo Brown. The official headquarters of the ministry are at State Secretariat, Port Harcourt.

The Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) is the largest international exhibition in West Africa. The Trade Fair is the premier International Trade Fair in Nigeria with the spectacular 10-day event usually starting on the first Friday of November, annually.

The Lagos State Ministry of Transport is the government ministry responsible for transportation in Lagos State, Nigeria. In 1984, under the administration of Governor Gbolahan Mudasiru, the Ministry of Transportation was merged with the Ministry of Works and became the Ministry of Works and Transport. The Lagos State Civil Service consists of employees in Lagos State government agencies other than the military. Most employees under the service are career civil servants in the Lagos state ministries, progressing based on qualifications and seniority. The civil service is headed by Head of Service, a senior member of the state civil service appointed by the state Governor. The head of service of Lagos state civil service is Hakeem Muri-Okunola.

Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid is a Nigerian politician representing Ijebu-North / Ijebu-East / Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in Nigeria. He is a member of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) from Ogun State and also a member of the party's National Executive Council.
