The Lagos State Ministry of Establishments, Training and Pensions is the state government ministry, charged with the responsibility to plan, devise and, implement the state policies on Establishments, Training and Pensions. [1] [2]

The Ministry of Establishments, Training, and Pensions is the government's key human resource management agency, in charge of human capital development, career advancement, and, retirement.

The Lagos State Ministry of Establishments and, Training has existed since the state's inception. The previous Ministry of Establishments, Pensions, and Training was split up into the Office of Establishments and, Training in February 2001.

Mrs. Ajibola Ponnle serves as the Honourable Commissioner for Lagos state ministry of Establishments,Training and Pensions. [3]

Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo is a Nigerian lawyer, professor, and politician who is the 14th and current Vice President of Nigeria since 2015. Folashade Sherifat Jaji is a Nigerian chemist, civil servant and the Secretary to Lagos State Government. She was formerly the Head of Service in Lagos State, a post she held after service as the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Establishments, Training and Pensions. She also helped the federal government to improve the civil service fund reserve.

Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is a Nigerian politician and the current Governor of Lagos State. He became governor under the platform of the All Progressives Congress after contesting and unexpectedly winning the gubernatorial primaries under the All Progressives Congress against incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State in October 2019. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, as well as the London Business School, Lagos Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Before his gubernatorial ambition, he was the managing director and CEO of Lagos State Property Development Corporation (LSPDC).

Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru was a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice for Osun State in Nigeria. He also served as Commissioner in the Ministry of Regional Integration & Special Duties from August 2010 - November 2014. He was once a Lecturer in Osun State University November, 2014 - May 2017.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2019 Lagos State gubernatorial election</span> 2019 election to choose the Governor of Lagos State

The 2019 Lagos gubernatorial election was conducted on March 9 to choose the Governor of Lagos State. The election was held concurrently with various state level elections. Incumbent APC Governor Akinwunmi Ambode lost to the APC flag bearer Babajide Sanwo-Olu at a direct primary election in October 2018 and hence ineligible to run for second term under APC. Babajide Sanwo-Olu won in a landslide against Jimi Agbaje of the PDP who had previously run unsuccessfully for Lagos state governor twice. From 1999, Lagos state has been governed by AD, then ACN, two parties which subsequently formed part of the coalition that birthed the APC in 2013.

Ajibola Ponnle she is the current commissioner for Lagos State Ministry of Establishments, Training and Pensions appointed by Lagos State Governor.
