Early life and career

Lak was born in Tiruchirappalli, India. He learnt to play the piano when he was in his late teens and started songwriting in his early twenties. He finished his school from Sri Akilandeshwari Vidyalaya & high school from Sri Vaijayanthee Vidyalaya, Trichy. Later, he studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at C.A.R.E School Of Engineering, Trichy and also he studied Audio Engineering at Loyola College, Chennai. After graduating from Loyola, he joined as the only Music director for the YouTube channel Smile Settai [1] [2] which is now known as 'Blacksheep' in 2015. He was noted for the music in the series ' Love all with anbu ' and later on made his Tamil - Independent debut single ' Usurey ' in 2018. He started ‘Raavana’, a band of talented Indie musicians and performed originals at ‘Motta Maade Music’ in Mylapore, Chennai in 2019.

Lak has worked with many of his country's brightest music stars and a growing list of international luminaries, including Sri Lankan artists like Yohani [3] for her english debut ' Merry Christmas Baby ' in 2020 and Medhavi J for her sinhala debut single ' Sirakariya ' [4] in 2021.

Tiruchirappalli, also called Tiruchi or Trichy, is a major tier II city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the administrative headquarters of Tiruchirappalli district. 2013 Anti–Sri Lanka protests

The 2013 Anti–Sri Lanka protests are a series of student protests and agitations initiated by the Students Federation for Freedom of Tamil Eelam in Tamil Nadu, India, against war crimes committed against Sri Lankan Tamil people by Sri Lankan army during the Eelam War IV. The protesters demanded that the Government of India vote in support of a United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolution censuring the Government of Sri Lanka for war crimes. Some radical groups even demanded the prosecution of the President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapakse for his role in the alleged genocide of Sri Lankan Tamils. Apart from college students, doctors, film personalities and employees of IT companies also participated in the protests.

National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli is a public technical and research university near the city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded as Regional Engineering College Tiruchirappalli in 1964 by the Governments of India and Tamil Nadu under the affiliation of the University of Madras. Yohani Diloka de Silva, popularly known as Yohani, is a Sri Lankan singer, songwriter, rapper, music producer, YouTuber. She is also famous on TikTok and business woman of musical instruments imports and exports. She started her music career as a YouTuber. She soon gained recognition for her rap cover of ‘Deviyange Bare’ and released many covers of her singing and rapping which have earned her the title “Rap Princess” of Sri Lanka. She rose to prominence and gained global recognition for her cover of "Manike Mage Hithe". She also became the first Sri Lankan female singer to surpass a total of 2.44 million subscribers on YouTube.
