Como is a city and comune in Lombardy, Italy. It is the administrative capital of the Province of Como.
Lake Como is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 1,759, reflecting a decline of 47 (-2.6%) from the 1,806 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 324 (+21.9%) from the 1,482 counted in the 1990 Census. It is the tenth-smallest municipality in land area in New Jersey.
Summerhill is a town in Cayuga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,217 at the 2010 census. The town name is that of a location in Ireland. Summerhill is in the southeast corner of the county and is northeast of Ithaca.
Pierino Ronald "Perry" Como was an American singer, actor and television personality. During a career spanning more than half a century he recorded exclusively for RCA Victor for 44 years, after signing with the label in 1943. "Mr. C.", as he was nicknamed, sold millions of records and pioneered a weekly musical variety television show. His weekly television shows and seasonal specials were broadcast throughout the world. In the official RCA Records Billboard magazine memorial, his life was summed up in these few words: "50 years of music and a life well lived. An example to all."
Campione d'Italia is a comune of the Province of Como in the Lombardy region of Italy and an exclave surrounded by the Swiss canton of Ticino. At its closest, the exclave is less than one kilometre (0.6 mi) from the rest of Italy, but the intervening mountainous terrain requires a journey by road of over 14 km (9 mi) to reach the nearest Italian town, Lanzo d'Intelvi, and over 28 km (17 mi) to reach the city of Como.
Bellagio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region of Lombardy. It is located on Lake Como, also known by its Latin-derived name Lario, whose arms form an inverted Y. The triangular land mass at the base of the inverted Y is the Larian Triangle: at its northern point sits Bellagio, looking across to the northern arm of the lake and, behind it, the Alps. It has always been famous for its location. It belongs to a mountain community named Comunità montana del Triangolo lariano, with base in Canzo.
Brunate is a town and comune in the province of Como in northern Italy, some 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan. It has some 1,800 residents, but is much more populated in summer, when tourists rent houses and apartments.

Cayuga Creek is a small stream in western New York, United States, with stretches in both Erie County and Wyoming County. The creek enters Buffalo Creek in the northwest corner of the Town of West Seneca in Erie County, just upstream from the New York State Thruway crossing. At that point, Buffalo Creek becomes the Buffalo River and flows into Lake Erie near Buffalo, New York.
New York State Route 41A (NY 41A) is a north–south state highway in Central New York in the United States. It extends for 25.49 miles (41.02 km) from an intersection with NY 41 in the Cortland County town of Homer to a junction with U.S. Route 20 (US 20) in the Onondaga County village of Skaneateles. The southern half of NY 41A serves mostly rural areas, while the route's northern half runs along the western edge of Skaneateles Lake. NY 41A was assigned as part of the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York to several previously unnumbered state roads and a section of pre-1930 NY 26.
Argegno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 650 and an area of 4.3 square kilometres (1.7 sq mi).
Cernobbio is a comune (municipality) in the province of Como, Lombardy, northern Italy. It is located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Milan and about 2 kilometres (1 mi) northwest of Como, on the border with Switzerland and near the Lake Como. The highest peak is the Monte Bisbino, at 1,325 metres (4,347 ft).
Tremezzo is a comune of some 1,300 people in the Province of Como, in the Italian region Lombardy.
"Round and Round" is a popular song by Joe Shapiro and Lou Stallman published in 1956. A version of the song was recorded by Perry Como for RCA Victor on January 15, 1957 and was a big hit that year. The song would prove to be Perry Como's last over-all number one on the Billboard charts. The song spent two weeks at number two on Billboard's Honor Roll of Hits. Como's version was noted for its instrumental buildup, including the counterpoint melodies sung by the Ray Charles Singers, who gradually join in on the refrains, and gradually drop out before the song's fade.
Isola Comacina is a small wooded island of Italy’s Lake Como, administratively a part of the commune of Ossuccio. It is located close to the western shore of the Como arm of the lake in front of a gulf known as Zoca de l'oli, a Lombard name referring to the local small-scale production of olive oil. In the late 6th century the island was a remaining Roman stronghold under Francio, a subordinate of Narses; though the areas surrounding Lake Como were entirely controlled by the Lombards. The island was besieged for a good deal of time by the Lombards under Authari who released Francio to flee back to Narses' capital at Ravenna. The Lombards found the island to contain "many riches" deposited for safekeeping by local Roman loyalists.

Porter Charlton was the son of a Puerto Rican federal judge who in 1910 confessed in New York, United States to murdering his wife at Lake Como in Italy and sinking the body in a trunk in the lake. He was extradited to Italy.
Como Lake Park is a 534-acre (2.16 km2) park in Erie County, in the U.S. state of New York. The park is located along the banks of Cayuga Creek in both the village and town of Lancaster, approximately 14 miles (23 km) east of the city of Buffalo. It is operated by the Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry. Access is free and it is open to the public year-round.
