The Avenues is an affluent neighborhood in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is named after the perfectly gridlike, closely laid out roads called Avenues and Streets. First surveyed in the 1850s, the Avenues became Salt Lake City's first neighborhood. Today, the Avenues neighborhood is generally considered younger, more progressive, and somewhat "artsy" when compared to other neighborhoods. Many young professionals choose to live there due to the culture and easy commute to downtown.. It is also one of the most important strongholds of the Utah Democratic Party.

The Leland Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by the park, Main Street, Avenue A, and the harbor, in Leland, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1973 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The district consists of two contiguous areas: Leland's downtown and the nearby commercial fishing area colloquially known as Fishtown. The Fishtown area was listed separately on the National Register in 2022.

The Railroad Street Historic District encompasses a cluster of commercial and railroad-related buildings at the traditional late 19th-century heart of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. It includes five commercial buildings and the town's 1883 union depot, and is reflective of the town's importance as a major railroad junction in northern New England. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It was subsumed by the larger St. Johnsbury Historic District in 1980.
The Chisholm Commercial Historic District is the historic business district of Chisholm, Minnesota, United States. It consists of one and two-story commercial buildings as well as some civic buildings and a park, all constructed after a fire on September 5, 1908, destroyed the community's original downtown and before the Wall Street Crash of 1929 put an end to Chisholm's early-20th-century heyday. The district comprises both sides of Lake Street West between Central Avenue and 4th Avenue West, as well as some properties on the east sides of Central Avenue and 1st Avenue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016 for its local significance in the themes of commerce, entertainment/recreation, and social history. The district was nominated for its association with the establishment of Chisholm as an economic, social, and civic hub on the Mesabi Range.
