In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election,Adhikari was elected from the Kaski-3 constituency,with 13,386 votes. In the 2013 Constituent Assembly election,he was re-elected from the Kaski-3 constituency,with 15,456 votes. In 2017,CPN-UML candidate Rabindra Adhikari won parliamentary elections from Kaski Constituency No. 2. Representing the left alliance,Adhikari secured 27,207 votes to defeat Nepali Congress candidate Dev Raj Chalise,who got 18,661 votes. After his demise,his wife Bidya Bhattarai won Kaski Constituency-2 with a wide margin of 8,403 votes in the by-election. Bhattarai secured 24,394 votes while her nearest contender Khem Raj Poudel from main opposition Nepali Congress got 15,991. Likewise,Socialist Party's Dharma Raj Gurung got 1,922 votes. He authored the books Constituent Assembly,Democracy and Re-structuring.
Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli is a Nepalese politician and former Prime Minister of Nepal. He served three terms as prime minister from 11 October 2015 to 3 August 2016,from 15 February 2018 to 13 May 2021 as the first elected prime minister under the new constitution,and from 13 May 2021 to 13 July 2021.
Udaya Shumsher Rana Nepali:उदयशमशेरराणाis a Nepali politician and a youth leader who served as a Minister of State for Finance from 2017 to 2018. He was the president of Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD) a sister and youth organization of Nepali Congress from 2012 to 2017. He is currently working as a Central Working Committee Member of Nepali congress.
General elections were held in Nepal in two phases on 26 November and 7 December 2017 to elect the 275 members of the fifth House of Representatives,the lower house of the Federal Parliament of Nepal. The election was held alongside the first provincial elections for the seven provincial assemblies. A political deadlock between the governing Nepali Congress and the winning left-wing coalition over the system used to elect the upper house led to delay in forming the new government. Following the announcement of final result by the Election Commission,K.P. Oli of Communist Party of Nepal was sworn in as Prime Minister on 15 February 2018 by the President according to Article 76 (2) of the constitution. He passed a Motion of Confidence on 11 March 2018 with 208 votes.

Khem Prasad Lohani is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He was elected under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system representing CPN UML of the left alliance from Dhading-2 constituency. He defeated his closest rival Dilman Pakhrin of Nepali Congress by acquiring 36,654 votes to Pakhrin's 36,015. This was the first time he was elected to parliament.

Laxman Lal Karna is a Nepali politician and was Minister of Land Management,Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation since 4 June 2021 but was removed from the post by Supreme Court on 22 June 2021 making the tenure of just 18 days and shortest till date. He was also a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He was elected under the first-past-the-post system from Parsa-4 constituency,representing Rastriya Janata Party Nepal. He defeated his nearest rival Ramesh Rijal of Nepali Congress by acquiring 20,738 votes to Rijal's 14,702.
Padam Giri is a Nepali communist politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He was elected from Parbat District representing CPN UML under the first-past-the-post system in the 2017 legislative election. He defeated his nearest rival,Arjun Prasad Joshi of Nepali Congress,by acquiring 39,275 votes to Joshi's 26,819.
The First Federal Parliament of Nepal,consisting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly,was elected via the 2017 legislative,provincial and local elections.
General elections were held in Nepal on 20 November 2022 to elect the 275 members of the House of Representatives. There were two ballots in the election;one to elect 165 members from single-member constituencies via FPTP,and the other to elect the remaining 110 members from a single nation-wide constituency via party-list proportional representation.
Rajendra Prasad Lingden is a Nepali politician who is the Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. He served as a member of the 1st Federal Parliament of Nepal from March 2018 till his resignation in September 2022.
