Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. (ΛΘΦ) is a Latino non-profit social fraternity in the United States with 148 undergraduate chapters and 33 alumni associations.
Pi Lambda Phi (ΠΛΦ), commonly known as Pi Lam, is a social fraternity with 145 chapters. The fraternity was founded in 1895 at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. is a Latino and multicultural interest collegiate fraternity. It was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York on February 19, 1982, and has 78 active undergraduate chapters and sixteen graduate alumni professional chapters in universities and cities across the United States.

Beta Sigma Rho (ΒΣΡ) was a social fraternity founded on October 12, 1910, at Cornell University. Most of its active chapters were absorbed into Pi Lambda Phi fraternity in 1972, following a similar course as two other smaller Jewish fraternities that joined that national society.
Iota Alpha Pi (ΙΑΠ) was an international collegiate sorority operating in the United States and Canada from March 3, 1903, to July 1971, when it ceased operations. It was then restarted when Alpha chapter was rechartered at Hunter College in October 2023. As of November 2024, the Alpha chapter has been suspended by Hunter College.
The expansion of Greek letter organizations into Canada was an important stage of the North American fraternity movement, beginning in 1879 with the establishment of a chapter of Zeta Psi at the University of Toronto. In 1883, the same fraternity established a chapter at McGill University. Other early foundations were Kappa Alpha Society at Toronto in 1892 and at McGill in 1899, and Alpha Delta Phi at Toronto in 1893 and at McGill in 1897. The first sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, was established in Toronto in 1887. In 1902, the first international chapter of Phi Delta Theta was established at McGill University as the Quebec Alpha.
Phi Beta Delta (ΦΒΔ) was a college social fraternity for Jewish students in the United States founded at Columbia University on April 12, 1912. In 1941 the fraternity merged with Pi Lambda Phi.
In North America, fraternities and sororities are social clubs at colleges and universities. Beta Sigma Omega Phi is a service fraternity and sorority founded at University of Bohol on October 10, 1968. This was organized by Frank Paz Jr., Frederick Loor, and Remy Galbizo. Their aims were to foster lifetime brotherhood and sisterhood and to build noble leaders and better citizens. Members are encouraged to promote the welfare of students and to work for better and greater involvement in the affairs of the school as well as in the community. The organization facilitates a variety of community civic involvement, and services like tree planting, feeding programs, bloodletting, operation tuli, and lately the Brigada Eskwela. Betans 1968 have established 72 collegiate chapters throughout Philippines; most of these are on the island of Mindanao.
