The Langley Blaze is a youth baseball club located in the Township of Langley, British Columbia.
The Langley Blaze was co-founded in 2001 by Doug Mathieson and Jason Andrews. [1] The Blaze's home field is located in the McLeod Stadium which was completed in 2003. Before the completion, the Blaze played at City Park. They are part of the B.C. Premier Baseball League. [2]
Doug Mathieson is a former MLB scout with the Milwaukee Brewers and was recently named to the 2025 top 100 most influential people in Canadian Baseball list
3 Blaze alumni have gone on to play in the major leagues, 2nd only to PBL rival Whalley Chiefs
In 2011, the Langley Blaze Premier Team was disciplined by the League for roster violations, resulting in the forfeiture of 12 regular season wins .
