Lanre Alfred is a Nigerian journalist, author and businessman. He is the publisher of The Capital, former society editor and columnist at This Day, author of five books and owner of Old English Superstores, a department store in Lagos, Nigeria. [1] [2]

Alfred Lanre is a celebrity journalism practitioner. His career in the genre included a stint as a society reporter, writer and columnist at City People Magazine, a Nigerian popular soft-sell magazine owned and founded by Seye Kehinde. [3] [4] After a couple of years, Alfred left City People Magazine for This Day Newspaper where he authored SpyGlass on Saturdays and Society Happenings on Sundays, [5] the page through which he mirrored the lifestyle of Nigerian socialites and celebrities. He left This Day as Society Editor in 2014 to found his own online magazine, The Capital, "an online publication with focus on business, politics and lifestyle of Nigeria's high society and nouveau riche.". [6] He remains a contributing columnist to the This Day through a weekly column named, High Life.

Walter M. Brasch was an American social issues journalist and university professor of journalism. He was the author of a weekly syndicated newspaper column and the author of 17 books. He was a newspaper editor in California, Iowa, Indiana, and Ohio, and a senior editor at OpEdNews., He died on February 9, 2017.

Diane Anderson-Minshall American journalist (born 1968)

Diane Anderson-Minshall is an American journalist and author best known for writing about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender subjects. She is editorial director of The Advocate and Chill magazines, the editor-in-chief of HIV Plus magazine, and a contributing editor to OutTraveler. Anderson-Minshall co-authored the 2014 memoir, Queerly Beloved about her relationship with her husband Jacob Anderson-Minshall surviving his gender transition.

Reuben Abati is a Nigerian Journalist, Politician, Television Anchor and Newspaper Columnist. He was the PDP's Deputy Governorship candidate in Ogun State for the 2019 Guber election. Abati was Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria between Year 2011 and 2015. He was previously a newspaper columnist and the chairman of the editorial board of the Nigerian newspaper The Guardian from 2001 to 2011. He was a graduate of Theater Arts from the University of Calabar. Equally importantly, Reuben Abati is a Senior Research Associate with the Olusegun Obasanjo Centre for Cultural Studies and National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

Ayo Makun Nigerian comedian and actor

Ayodeji Richard Makun, also known by his stage name A.Y, is a Nigerian actor, comedian, radio and TV presenter, writer, producer and movie director. Born on 19 August 1971, he hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo State. He is the host of the A.Y live shows and A.Y comedy skits. Steve Oluseyi Ayorinde is the immediate past Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture in Lagos State in Nigeria. Before that, he was the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, sworn in by His Excellency the Governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode on 19 October 2015. He was policy director and chief of staff to the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Oluseye Olugbemiga Kehinde is a Nigerian journalist who was the founder of City People Group Limited.

Bayo Onanuga is a journalist who founded TheNews Magazine, he was appointed managing director of News Agency of Nigeria by president Muhammad Buhari, before that he was CEO and managing director of PM News and TheNEWS magazine.
