Lasha Khutsishvili (born 2 September 1985) is a Georgian politician who has been Minister of Finance of Georgia since 1 April 2021. [1] [2]
He was educated at the European High School of Management-Tbilisi (Bachelor's degree in Business Administration) and Preston University (Bachelor of Arts in General Management).
The economy of Georgia is an emerging free market economy. Its gross domestic product fell sharply following the dissolution of the Soviet Union but recovered in the mid-2000s,growing in double digits thanks to the economic and democratic reforms brought by the peaceful Rose Revolution. Georgia continued its economic progress since,"moving from a near-failed state in 2003 to a relatively well-functioning market economy in 2014". In 2007,the World Bank named Georgia the World's number one economic reformer.
Tbilisi,in some languages still known by its pre-1936 name Tiflis,is the capital and largest city of Georgia,lying on the banks of the Kura River with around 1.2 million inhabitants,which is about a third of the country's population. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia,and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Between 1801 and 1917,then part of the Russian Empire,Tiflis was the seat of the Caucasus Viceroyalty,governing both the northern and the southern parts of the Caucasus.

Mikheil Saakashvili is a Georgian and Ukrainian politician and jurist. He was the third president of Georgia for two consecutive terms from 25 January 2004 to 17 November 2013. From May 2015 until November 2016,Saakashvili was the governor of Ukraine's Odesa Oblast. He is the founder and former chairman of the United National Movement party. Saakashvili heads the executive committee of Ukraine's National Reform Council since 7 May 2020. In 2021 he began serving a six-year prison sentence in Georgia on charges of abuse of power and organization of an assault occasioning grievous bodily harm against an opposition lawmaker Valery Gelashvili.
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is a public research university established on 8 February 1918 in Tbilisi,Georgia. Excluding academies and theological seminaries,which have intermittently functioned in Georgia for centuries,TSU is the oldest university in Georgia and the Caucasus region. The total enrollment is over 23,500 students,and there are 5,000 faculty and staff members (collaborators) overall.

Irakli Garibashvili is a Georgian politician and a former business executive who served as the prime minister of Georgia between 22 February 2021 and 29 January 2024. He had previously served as prime minister from 20 November 2013 until his resignation on 30 December 2015. Garibashvili is a member of the Georgian Dream party and has served as the party's chairman since 1 February 2024. He entered politics with his long-time associate Bidzina Ivanishvili,in October 2012.
