Laura Malosetti Costa (born 30 March 1956) is a Uruguayan-born Argentine social and cultural anthropologist, researcher, art historian, and essayist. She is also a curator of art exhibitions and the author of several books on Latin American art. She was recognized with the Konex Award in 2006 and 2016. [1] [2]

Career

Laura Malosetti Costa was born 30 March 1956 in Montevideo, Uruguay. [1] [3] She completed a doctorate at the University of Buenos Aires. [1]

She is a member of the Argentine National Academy of Fine Arts  [ es ]. She works as a researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), and is director of the Institute of Arts of the National University of General San Martín (UNSAM). [4] She is also UNSAM's director of the Master's Degree in History of Argentine and Latin American Art. [5]

Jorge Luis Farjat is an Argentinian producer of audiovisual works and also literary works, mainly dedicated to the divulgation of his theory about the audiovisual art, which is understood to be the language aesthetics that combines fixed images (photography) with sound, specially music, in a whole organized by a montage and shown under the same conditions than the cinema. His audiovisual works comprise several periods and amount to twenty-six productions of mean and long duration, mostly documentaries. Irina Podgorny, Ph.D is an Argentine anthropologist, a historian of science at the National University of La Plata, permanent staff at CONICET, professor ad honorem and Director of the Archive of History and Photographs at the Natural Science Facility and Museum of the National University of La Plata, and winner of the Bernardo Houssay Young Researcher Award.
