Laura J Stockdale (born 8 March 1983) is an English footballer, who played for Los Angeles Strikers and for Ottawa Fury in the USL W-League and for Adelaide United in the Australian W-League.

Stockdale, originally from Sunderland, played collegiate soccer initially at Cumberland College in Kentucky and later for Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire [1] [2] After some years in the US she returned to England and enrolled at Durham University Business School, also playing for Durham University Women's Association Football Club (DUWAFC). [3]

The Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters are the athletic teams that represent Lincoln Memorial University, located in Harrogate, Tennessee, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Railsplitters compete as members of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) for most varsity sports, although the bowling team competes in the Conference Carolinas and the men's volleyball program plays as an independent.
