Laure Favre-Kahn (born 24 October 1976) is a French classical pianist. [1]
Born in Arles, it was her father, an amateur pianist, who introduced her to the piano at the age of four. She took classes at the Avignon Conservatory before entering the Conservatoire de Paris [2] in 1991.
She studied in Bruno Rigutto's class [3] and won a first prize in 1993.
Constantin "Dinu" Lipatti was a Romanian classical pianist and composer whose career was cut short by his death from effects related to Hodgkin's disease at age 33. He was elected posthumously to the Romanian Academy. He composed few works, all of which demonstrated a strong influence from Hungarian composer Béla Bartok.
