The St. Lawrence Seaway is a system of locks,canals,and channels in Canada and the United States that permits oceangoing vessels to travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes of North America,as far inland as Duluth,Minnesota,at the western end of Lake Superior. The seaway is named for the St. Lawrence River,which flows from Lake Ontario to the Atlantic Ocean. Legally,the seaway extends from Montreal,Quebec,to Lake Erie,and includes the Welland Canal. Ships from the Atlantic Ocean are able to reach ports in all five of the Great Lakes.
Barry County is a county located in the southwest portion of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 Census,the population was 34,534. Its county seat is Cassville. The county was organized in 1835 and named after William Taylor Barry,a U.S. Postmaster General from Kentucky. His district stretches from the Sacramento suburbs to the outer suburbs of Fresno;it includes Yosemite National Park. A member of the Republican Party,McClintock served as a California state assemblyman from 1982 to 1992 and from 1996 to 2000,when he became a California state senator,a position he held until 2008. The Knights of Pythias is a fraternal organization and secret society founded in Washington,D.C.,on February 19,1864. The Knights of Pythias is the first fraternal organization to receive a charter under an act of the United States Congress. It was founded by Justus H. Rathbone,who had been inspired by a play by the Irish poet John Banim about the legend of Damon and Pythias. The Jefferson County School System is the second-largest public school system in Alabama,United States. It is the third oldest school system in Jefferson County preceded only by the Birmingham and Bessemer School Systems. The Jefferson County School System was created in 1896,and initially served all unincorporated communities and cities in the county other than Birmingham and Bessemer. Beginning in the late 1960s and early 1970s various other cities began to establish their own separate systems. Today the County system serves students in those unincorporated areas of Jefferson County,Alabama such as Alliance,Bagley,Concord,Corner,Forestdale,McCalla,Minor,Mt. Olive,and Oak Grove. It also includes students who reside in the cities of Adamsville,Clay,Fultondale,Gardendale,Graysville,Hueytown,Irondale,Kimberly,Morris,Pinson,Pleasant Grove,and Warrior among others. Those cities listed below each have a city-based school system,therefore,their students do not attend schools in the Jefferson County School System:
Brenda Lulenar Lawrence is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative from Michigan's 14th congressional district since 2015. A member of the Democratic Party,Lawrence served as mayor of Southfield,Michigan,from 2001 to 2015,and was the party's nominee for Oakland County executive in 2008 and for lieutenant governor in 2010. Her district covers most of eastern Detroit,including downtown,and stretches west to take in portions of Oakland County,including Farmington Hills,Pontiac,and Lawrence's home in Southfield.
McAdory High School (MHS) is a four-year public high school in the Birmingham,Alabama suburb of McCalla. It is one of fourteen high schools in the Jefferson County School System and was named for early local educator Isaac McAdory. School colors are black and gold,and the athletic teams are called the Yellowjackets. MHS competes in AHSAA Class 6A athletics.

Their current head coach is St. Lawrence alumnus Chris Wells,who played for the 1992 men’s championship ice hockey team.
