Lay It On The Line are a British melodic hardcore band from London. They were formed in 2012 by Phinius Gage member Mike Scott, his brother Matt and Dave Smith, who was originally guitarist in Not Katies. [2] They wrote their demo in a single evening and recorded it in a single day. [3] Championed by Radio 1 DJ Mike Davies before they had played a show, [4] the band have so far gone on to release four EPs and, featuring a new line-up, their debut album The Black Museum, [5] was released on Disconnect, Disconnect Records on 30 June 2017. [6] Their current line-up also features Donuts on bass, who is formerly of Hang The Bastard. As of 2018, they were in the studio recording their second album.

Helen McCookerybook is a British musician and singer-songwriter, who was the bass player and co-singer with The Chefs, during the late 1970s and early 1980s. She went on to form Helen and the Horns in the mid 80s. Both bands were admired by John Peel, recording six BBC Radio 1 sessions between them. After a long break from her music career, Helen McCookerybook started again as a solo artist in 2005. She regularly plays live gigs, releases recordings, and promotes occasional revivals of Helen and the Horns.

They have toured all around the world including Japan and Europe, as well as performed in many festivals in support of their releases which helped give the band recognition from publications including Rolling Stone.
Lower Than Atlantis were an English rock band from Watford, Hertfordshire. They formed in 2007 as a hardcore punk band and gradually shifted into a rock sound over five studio albums, their last being 2017's Safe in Sound. The band consisted of vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Mike Duce, bassist Declan Hart, drummer Eddy Thrower, and guitarist Ben Sansom. They announced in December 2018 that they would be disbanding after a final 3 tour dates in 2019.

From 2010, Cook has also had a career as solo artist working with producer and songwriter Prince Fatty. In 2011, she released her first and self-titled reggae album Hollie Cook. She calls her own music "tropical pop", and has a passion for reggae and female rocksteady and reggae singers, such as Janet Kay and Phyllis Dillon, combined with classic 1960s girl groups.
