He served as the Football Association of Thailand's General Secretary from 1996 to 2007, before being elected president in 2007. In October 2015 Makudi was suspended by FIFA Ethics Committee from all football activities for 90 days. In February 2016 he was banned by FIFA Disciplinary Committee for three months after it was found that he had breached the previous ban. In October 2016 Makudi was banned by FIFA Ethics Committee for five years and fined 10,000 Swiss Francs for forgery and falsification.
The 2014 OFC Women's Nations Cup was the 10th edition of the OFC Women's Nations Cup, and took place in Papua New Guinea from 25 to 29 October 2014. The football tournament was organised by the Oceania Football Confederation. It was the tenth edition of the tournament.
The 2016 OFC Champions League was the 15th edition of the Oceanian Club Championship, Oceania's premier club football tournament organized by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), and the 10th season under the current OFC Champions League name. The 2016 OFC U-17 Women's Championship was the 3rd edition of the OFC U-17 Women's Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) for the women's under-17 national teams of Oceania. The tournament was held in the Cook Islands between 13–23 January 2016. The tournament, which returned after the previous edition in 2014 was cancelled, was originally scheduled to be held between 13–28 September 2015.

The qualifying stage was held in the Cook Islands between 26 May – 1 June 2018, and the final tournament was held in Tahiti between 5–18 August 2018.
The 2019 OFC U-19 Women's Championship was the 9th edition of the OFC U-19/U-20 Women's Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) for the women's under-19/under-20 national teams of Oceania. The tournament was held in the Cook Islands from 30 August to 12 September 2019.
