Lee Perry (born 16 December 1959 [1] in Australia) [2] is an Australian voice actor known for portraying various characters in either direct-to-video or theatrically released animated movies such as $9.99 (2008), Happy Feet (2006), and Happy Feet Two (2011). He has also appeared in live action in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024).

Perry's television voice overs include characters and narrations in Men in Black: The Series , Always Greener , Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars and Sisters of War .

Perry has voiced over many commercials, IVRs, radio/TV promos, ad campaigns and tour programs. [3]

In 1997, Perry provided the narration for Baz Luhrmann's version of the song "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)". [4] [5]

Personal life

Perry currently lives in Sydney, Australia. [3] His brother, Alex, is a fashion designer. [6]

Happy Feet Two is a 2011 animated jukebox musical comedy film directed, produced and co-written by George Miller. It is the sequel to the 2006 film Happy Feet. It stars Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, Alecia Moore (P!nk), Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Sofia Vergara, Common, Hugo Weaving, Richard Carter, Magda Szubanski and Anthony LaPaglia. Wood, Williams, Weaving, Szubanski and LaPaglia reprised their roles, with Moore and Common replacing the late Brittany Murphy and Fat Joe, respectively. In addition, E.G. Daily returned in different roles. Immortan Joe, birth name Joe Moore, is a fictional character in the Australian post-apocalyptic action film series Mad Max. The main antagonist of the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road; he is also a major character in Fury Road's companion comic book series of the same name and its 2024 prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. In the radioactive, post-apocalyptic wasteland of the series, Immortan Joe is a powerful warlord; his cult and army of fanatical "War Boys" revere him as a god of Norse mythology, who will lead them to Valhalla. He dominates the regional economy through his control over the Citadel, one of the only remaining sources of fresh water in the wasteland. However, Joe is also incredibly sick due to radiation.
