Career

LehtMoJoe's stage name combines the names of his favorite Dallas Stars ice hockey players during the late nineteen-nineties, Jere Lehtinen, Mike Modano and Joe Nieuwendyk. [1]

In 2009, Leht released a solo album, Spaghetti Western, while hosting a live hip hop show at the Granada Theater in Dallas. Spaghetti Western tracks, together with a string of smart remixes, received significant attention on the local Dallas music scene and international airplay through The Hype Machine Radio, BBC Radio 1 and Mark Ronson’s Authentic Shit. [1] [2] Official remixes released by Röyksopp, Dragonette, Au Revoir Simone, Trafik and Major Lazer established Leht on the electronic music scene.[ citation needed ]

The Pharcyde American hip hop group

The Pharcyde is an American alternative hip hop group, formed in 1989, from South Central Los Angeles. The original four members of the group are Imani, Slimkid3, Bootie Brown, and Fatlip. DJ Mark Luv was the group's first disc jockey (DJ), followed by producer J-Swift and then J Dilla. The group is perhaps best known for the hit singles "Drop", "Passin' Me By" and "Runnin'", as well as their first album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde (1992). The group continues to tour and record, both collaboratively and in solo projects—the most recent being Hardson's collaborative EP with the award-winning DJ Nu-Mark released in 2014 on Delicious Vinyl.

Adam F

Adam Fenton is an English record producer and DJ who has worked across various genres. He is also the co-founder of the drum and bass label Breakbeat Kaos along with DJ Fresh. He found initial success with the 1990s drum and bass singles "Circles", "Metropolis" / "Mother Earth", and "F-Jam", before releasing his debut studio album Colours in 1997. In 2001, he transitioned into hip hop music, producing the album Kaos: The Anti-Acoustic Warfare, featuring collaborations with LL Cool J, Redman and De La Soul. He later released a remix album, Drum and Bass Warfare, and collaborated with DJ Fresh

British hip hop, also known as UK rap, is a genre of music, and a culture that covers a variety of styles of hip hop music made in the United Kingdom. It is generally classified as one of a number of styles of urban music. British hip hop can also be referred to as Brit-hop, a term coined and popularised mainly by British Vogue magazine and the BBC. British hip hop was originally influenced by the dub/toasting introduced to the United Kingdom by Jamaican migrants in the 1950s–70s, who eventually developed uniquely influenced rapping in order to match the rhythm of the ever-increasing pace and aggression of Jamaican-influenced dub in the UK. Toasting and soundsystem culture was also influential in genres outside of hip hop that still included rapping – such as grime, jungle, and UK garage.

Irish hip hop is the response to the hip hop cultural movement that originated in New York City in the 1970s which, at that time, was most popular in the borough of The Bronx. In the 1980s, breakdancing and graffiti were the first elements of hip hop culture to preface the Irish hip hop movement, which had started to emerge in Ireland.

Kurtis el Khaleel, known by the stage name Kurtis Mantronik, is Jamaican-born hip hop and electronic-music artist, DJ, remixer, and producer. Mantronik was the former leader, DJ, and keyboardist of the influential 1980s hip hop and electro-funk group Mantronix. Currently, Mantronik lives in South Africa, where he has produced and remixed house and techno music tracks by artists such as India, Junior Senior, Kylie Minogue, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Michael Gray, Victoria Beckham, Liberty X, and Mim. Mantronik was influential on the development of hip hop music; notably, he laid the foundations for Southern hip hop genres such as Miami bass and trap music, and helped popularize the Amen break.

DJ Icey

DJ Icey,, is an American DJ, electronic music producer, and remixer, credited by Allmusic as having helped to "jump-start the increasingly fertile dance scene in and around Orlando, FL, during the '90s." E, the Incredibly Strange History of Ecstasy credits him as "the prime founder of the Funky Breaks and the Florida Breaks." 1999's Rave America indicates that "the preoccupation with backbeats" characteristic of the Orlando sound was developed by DJ Icey.

A-Trak

Alain Macklovitch, known by his stage name A-Trak, is a Canadian DJ, turntablist, record producer, and record label executive. He came to prominence in the late 2000s as an international club DJ and remix artist, known for incorporating highly technical turntable skills and scratching into his genre-spanning work. He is also President of the record label Fool's Gold, which was founded in 2007 and is credited for developing the careers of artists such as Kid Cudi, Danny Brown, and Flosstradamus. Among other collaborative projects, he is part of the DJ duo Duck Sauce with Armand Van Helden and was nominated for a Grammy in 2012 for their song "Barbra Streisand".

Omnionn is a music producer of Salvadoran music. He is particularly active in the Salvadoran hip hop scene, where he is the official producer of Pescozada. He is also widely known as an artist of Electronic music. Ominonn resided in San Francisco, California for most of his life, but has dedicated himself to help establish an urban music scene in El Salvador, and in 2006 moved back to his home country.

Stu Allan is a British dance music DJ who worked for Piccadilly Radio and Key 103 in Manchester in the 1980s and 1990s. His hip hop, hardcore techno and house music mixes ranked him the world's No. 3 DJ by DJ Magazine in 1993 and his performances influenced significantly the music scene during this period. Allan today remains a major contributor within the UK hardcore scene.

Joell Ortiz American rapper from New York

Joell Christopher Ortiz is an American rapper and a member of the group Slaughterhouse. Ortiz grew up in the Cooper Park Houses in the East Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York, formerly signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment record label. He was featured in the Unsigned Hype column of the March 2004 issue of The Source Magazine and was also selected as Chairman's Choice in XXL Magazine.

Stateless (band)

Stateless are an English electronic band, founded in 2002 and based in Leeds and London. The group comprises Chris James, kidkanevil, Justin Percival and David Levin (drums).

Candy Coated Killahz were a Canadian musical group from Toronto, Ontario, known for their blend of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic styles, a sound that the group termed "Ghettotronic". Hailed by The Globe and Mail as one of the bands responsible for Toronto's emergence as a "music capital", original group members Tasha Dash and Icon the Anomali released their debut album It Factor in 2008 after becoming a staple in Toronto's Queen West music scene, and soon came into national visibility in 2009 with their debut single "Playboy". Following the single's success at radio and its appearance in Tyler Perry's blockbuster movie, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, CCK added DJ Danthrax, the third member, and together the group wrote and produced the second album, Neon Black. Electro Morocco is an Israeli American electronic music band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2007 by members of Nanuchka, they have released two EPs, Electro Morocco (2008) and Low Ride (2010) and were featured on the Shemspeed compilation album Sephardic Music Festival Vol. 1 (2010). They have remixed and produced songs for Y-Love, DeScribe, and Eprhyme. They are noted for their unusual blend of electronic, rock, and Middle Eastern music.
