Leigh Cowlishaw (born 16 December 1970) is an English former footballer and coach. He served as the head coach of the Richmond Kickers from 2000 until 2018.
Cowlishaw had been manager of the Kickers since 2000, during which time he coached the team to a Central Conference title in his debut year, two USL2 regular season titles in 2006 and 2007, three US Open Cup quarter final berths in 2001, 2004 and 2007, and two USL Second division championships, in 2006 and 2009. [1] He is a two-time USL2 Coach of the Year nominee, helped guide the organisation to four USL Organization of the Year awards (1995, 2000, 2006 and 2007), the Fair Play Award in 2004, and was named FieldTurf USL2 Coach of the Year in 2006.
On June 26, 2018, Cowlishaw stepped down as the head coach of the Kickers to assume the Director of Soccer role with the club. [2]

Darryl Gomez is a Trinidadian-Kittitian former footballer and manager. Gomez began playing football at the college level in 1996 with the Winthrop Eagles. After his completing his scholarship in 2000 he played in the USL A-League with the Richmond Kickers, and the Toronto Lynx. Following his time in the A-League and NPSL he played in the Canadian Professional Soccer League with several different clubs, and would eventually conclude his playing career in the league. Throughout his tenure within the CPSL/CSL his most notable accolade was winning the CSL Championship in 2008 with the Serbian White Eagles.

The number of teams increased from eleven to thirteen with Phoenix FC and VSI Tampa Bay FC joining the league as expansion franchises.
The 2018 Richmond Kickers season was the club's 26th season of existence. It was also the club's 11th season playing in the second tier of American soccer, and their seventh straight season in the United Soccer League, since renamed the USL Championship.
