The Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Dockers, is a professional Australian rules football club competing in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's elite competition. The team was founded in 1994 to represent the port city of Fremantle, a stronghold of football in Western Australia. The Dockers were the second team from the state to be admitted to the competition, following the West Coast Eagles in 1987.

East Fremantle won convincingly by forty-three points, 20.10 (130) to 13.9 (87), taking out their twenty-ninth premiership but their last as of 2018.
Marc Webb is an Australian rules football coach in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) for Port Melbourne and in the WAFL for Perth and Subiaco. He serves as an assistant coach at Fremantle after previously being a premiership winning senior coach for Claremont. He is the husband of Fremantle AFL Women's player Lisa Webb.
