Leo De Clercq FRPSL is a Belgian philatelist and postal historian who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2001. He has received the Paul de Smeth Medal (1975), the Costerus Medal (1988) and the SAVO Plakette (1993). He is a fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London. [1]

Bonilla Lara was a member of the Society of Costa Rica Collectors and an expert on the revenue stamps of Costa Rica. In 1998, his History of the Revenue Stamps of Costa Rica (1870-1970) was updated by Héctor R. Mena and Oscar C. Rohrmoser as the Costa Rica Revenue Stamp Catalogue (ISBN 0964524767).
Dr. Arturo Tort Nicolau was a medical practitioner and philatelist who was a specialist in the stamps of Spain. He founded the Gruppo Filatelico de Reus and was responsible for the then definitive three volume guide to Spanish stamps, the Guia del coleccionista de sellos de correos de España. In 1948 he was awarded the Crawford Medal by the Royal Philatelic Society London for the second volume of that work covering 1855–1869. The third volume was published after his death. He was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1956.
George Ernest Barker was a British philatelist who in 2009 signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. From 1983 to 2001 he was Editor of The London Philatelist. He was a specialist in the stamps of France and its colonies.

Hedwige Alma Lee FRPSL RDP was a Swiss-born naturalised British philatelist who specialised in the stamps of Switzerland and in topical collecting. She won large gold medals for her displays at Naba 1984, Stockholmia 1986, Hafnia 1987 and Finlandia 1988 and her collection was exhibited in the Court of Honour at PhilexFrance 1989 and New Zealand 1990. She signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1991 and later became the only non-resident member of the Consilium Philateliae Helveticae. The Royal Philatelic Society London award the Lee Medal in memory of Alma and her husband Ron.

In 1913 he won a gold medal at the Exposition Philatelique Internationale in Paris for his display of the stamps of Greece. His collection of the classic stamps of Mexico was sold by Harmers in 1956.

Yoshio Watanabe FRPSL (1933-?) was a Japanese philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2001. He specialises in the classic stamps of Japan and his exhibits have won the Grand Prix National at PHILANIPPON 81 and the FIAP Grand Prix at SINGPEX 94, as well as gold medals at LONDON 90 and GRANADA 92. He was a fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London.
Salih Kuyas is a Turkish philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2002. He specialises in the postal stationery of the Ottoman region, his collections of which have won large gold medals. In 1991 he won the Tilleard Medal of the Royal Philatelic Society London for his display of Levant postal stationery. In 2002 he won the European Award for Philatelic Merit.
James Van der Linden is a Belgian postal historian who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2002. He specialises in the postal history of Belgium and its colonies. In 1995 he received the Crawford Medal of the Royal Philatelic Society London for his book Catalogue des marques de passage.
