Leon Krijgsman (born June 17, 1973) is a Dutch singer.
Between 1999 and 2009 Leon hosted programs for the Dutch Fox Kids and Jetix channels, of which one example is "Pokémon Flippo Update". In most of his programs he is known for not only hosting the program but also playing at least one additional character. [1]

Serious Request is a family of annual multi-day, multimedia fundraising events for International Red Cross initiatives, typically hosted by radio stations in the week before Christmas. VriendenLoterij Miljonairs is a Dutch game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The show is hosted by Robert ten Brink. In 2011 the show was hosted by Jeroen van der Boom. The main goal of the game is to win €1 Million by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. It has been shown from 6 February 1999. From 6 February 1999 to February 2006, it was shown on SBS 6, and from 4 March 2006 to 24 May 2008, it was shown on RTL 4. In 2011 it returned on SBS 6.

The Floriade 2012 was opened by Queen Beatrix. The exposition's theme and slogan was "Be part of the theatre in nature; get closer to the quality of life".
The Netherlands has a single nationwide bike sharing program, called OV-fiets, which means 'public transport bike'. The system has 20,500 bikes in 300 locations, mainly train stations, all over the country. Membership is required and can be combined with an OV-chipkaart. The program, which started on a small scale in 2003, has enjoyed a steadily increasing popularity with over 4 million rides registered in 2018. The nature of the Dutch bike sharing program differs from that of programs in other countries partly because the already high bike ownership of the population. Its interconnection with the public transport network allows it to fill the need of people who also want to continue traveling by bike from the station of their destination.
